No but kids who have parents with food allergies have a higher rate of having allergies. Keep that in mind down the road. And they are often not the same foods as parents.
Agree with PP. Also my oldest son's allergist told me to avoid eating nuts during pregnancy and while breastfeeding with my second (my first has a peanut allergy). I don't think there is any evidence to support that it will help ds2 avoid an allergy but I've followed it. I miss pb but I'll do anything for my little guys.
