Any updates? I just started getting Acid Reflux this past week...ugghh the worst!! First pregnancy I've ever experienced this. Also hip/pelvic pain and back pain have really gotten worse this week.

When is your next appt? I have an OB appt on Thursday and a MFM appt a week from tomorrow.

My favorite color is purple and yes we are buying lots of decor in lavender and white. With my first DD everything was pink...so kinda sick of that color now. Lol

Any updates? I am pretty sure that I heard both of their heartbeats on my doppler and they both were kicking it too. Poor babes, get used to mama harassing you!
When is your next appt? This Friday is my NT with the MFM.  I have never done before and am anxious about it. I hope all goes well.

I just started to think about decorating now that I have some energy. I want to get it out of the way before I start feeling huge. I am going to keep the room blue regardless. If they are girls then I will add touches of pink or red.  My favorite colors are red, pink and yellow.

Mo/di team blue!

Updates: found out on Wed that we are having boys! I don't feel like a boy mom bc I have DD, but we are excited. Also, I had a wicked stomach virus this weekend and a lovely, itchy rash all over my body. Feeling much better today and rash has improved a lot. Dr. said the rash could be pregnancy related or from the virus... Have to wait and see.

Fav. Color is purple but I also like greens. Will prob paint the new nursery a shade of green that's fairly neutral. We don't want to have to reps in when we move in a few years. DD's room is Tiffany Blue, so we will need to repaint that.

Any updates? I'M SO SICK OF BEING PREGNANT OMG PLEASE MAKE IT END. The doctors (MFM or my regular OB) are not worried but I feel like the babies are measuring a little big. That's just per the U/S which I know can be a pound off anyway but they have to come out of MY vagina so I feel justified in stressing. I'm also probably not managing my GD as well as I should so I need to do a little better. My blood sugar is always fine but I'm also sneaking sweets. Shhhh! But I don't want giant babies. Baby Girl is already almost 4 pounds. 

When is your next appt? First BPP next week...that should be fun. I'm getting bored with the regular visits, haha.

What's your favorite color? Is this influencing your decorating decisions for your baby space? Red! I love red. It's so bright...not the best color for indoors so, no, not really. The babies' room is grey and yellow, mostly because it was my office before it was a nursery and everything was already grey and yellow...turns out that's pretty acceptable for a boy/girl room so I just went with it.

We don't have a nursery. They will room with us until they're 2 and move upstairs to share with an older sibling.

Any updates? Just hanging in there - hip pain while sleeping and baby B is breech and her head is in my ribs - which is very uncomfortable!
When is your next appt? Thurs is my first BPP - I am looking forward to it - it will be a month since my last ultrasound!

What's your favorite color? Is this influencing your decorating decisions for your baby space?  I don't know if I have a favorite color - but I tend to drift towards blues, purples, greens - and that is pretty much the colors I ended up using in the nursery too.

Any updates?  Saw my OB and MFM last Friday, all is looking good.  My OB was going to schedule my c-section for 34 weeks.  9 weeks to go if I can make it that far, I can't believe it is getting so close!!
When is your next appt?  12/20 for cervix check and growth scan.

What's your favorite color? Is this influencing your decorating decisions for your baby space?  My favourite colour is blue.  We aren't really decorating or doing anything special in the nursery as we will be moving a few months after they are born.  We'll see in the next house, but probably won't have time for any decorating then!!

27 weeks 1 day!!! (These days and weeks mean so much more now that my water has broken and I am on hospital bed rest!)

Any updates?

I had pprom with a water break at 26 weeks but didn't realize it as it happened late at night and I chalked it up to extra discharge. But when it continued the next day, I knew something was wrong. I have been at the hospital ever since. (1 week today) I was put on magnesium and got in both steroid shots. I am currently off all IVs and we are just playing the waiting game. It could be tomorrow or weeks from now. Our next big goal is 28 weeks and we are almost there! After that they want us to get to 32 weeks.

When is your next appt?

I pretty much have some sort of appointment everyday now that I am on hospital bed rest. I see my OBGYN or the one on call pretty much daily for check ins, get NSTs 3 times per day, vital checks multiple times per day, and meet with PT, OT, and Recreational Therapist daily or every other day. I have an ultrasound on Wednesday with the perinatalogist.

When asked what my favorite color is I always say pink which is true. But I have always had a love for teal. I have to say the teal did influence our nursery as we painted the nursery in vertical stripes that are 2 different shades of teal and I love it!

Well, my favorite color is blue and there will of course be some blue in babies' room, but there'll be some red and green as well as some brown.  We're trying to make it as gender neutral as possible with some girly stuff on one side and boyish stuff on the other.

Every week we make it another week still being team green is a miracle with how often they check in on them!  

Any updates?

This is my last week of work, woo hoo!!! My husband is in Madrid for work until Friday at 5 p.m., so we are really hoping everything stays uneventful until Friday. Let's make it to Friday, then we can start worrying about making it to 2014!!! 

When is your next appt?

Tomorrow with OB, 12/17 with MFM, and NSTs are supposed to start this week.

Since the babies are sharing a room, and we are team green and they could be one of each, we are sticking with neutral tones with lots of little pops of multi color - we have white cribs, cream walls, and green and chocolate bedding - a lot of the stuff we got has elephants on it. It works and its very cute! I have some hand me down dust ruffles with either green and blue stripes or pink flowers, so we will see which we use!

Any updates? Took my glucose test last Thursday, waiting for the results fx. Found out i had a SCH after a semi heavy bleed at 21 weeks and been spotting every since, spotting finally stopped a few days ago hopefully SCH is gone.


When is your next appt? On the 17th with the MFM for a growth scan.

Any updates? Finally feeling the babies kicking and DH felt from the outside for the first time. Surreal! I am borderline high blood sugar. (One point away from having to be retested). I guess no more rainbow sherbet at bedtime for me.
When is your next appt? at 24 weeks for another growth scan. 2 days before Christmas

YELLOW! We actually are painting the nursery walls yellow, but it is more of a neutral yellow that we already have in other areas of the house so not really influenced by my favorite color. The furniture and accessories will be mainly white, brown and creams.

Is this influencing your decorating decisions for your baby space?  I love blues, reds, and oranges.  Our nursery is already a light blue color (even though our first 2 were girls who have already used it) because we've been Team Green every pregnancy.  We will not be changing the nursery this time around, either.  And yes, I just like blue!

We have our c-section scheduled for December 19th.  I'll be 36w 1d, I'm having them early due to a previa. I can't believe how close we are!

My favorite color is actually pink, so no it did not influence my decorating my DH would have had a fit .  We went with aqua on three walls and grey and white chevron on the forth wall.  It matches our bedding we picked out.  We accented it with navy and went with a nautical theme.

Any updates? Had a growth scan today and the babies were going crazy! The way they are situated they spent most of the time kicking each other. It was pretty cute. Otherwise everyone is looking good!

When is your next appt? OB next Wednesday. I do need to call because I realized I was never scheduled for any sort of glucose test and we should probably do one.

Favorite colors are purple and maroon/wine. Being team green we went a little more neutral with mint green walls, espresso cribs, and green, brown, and cream bedding. If we have any girls I will probably accent with some lavender.

Any updates? I started leaking colostrum today, it was quite the surprise. Finished iron infusions last week, slowly starting to feel less tired.

It doesn't influence color choices though, DDs room is blue because that's her favorite color. Depending on the gender of the twins we may just go gender neutral on the majority of items. We did the same with DD, it's just easier IMO :-)

Any updates? Had a great cervix check last week, measured 4.7cm! Also have been able to feel both babies from the outside in the last couple of days. They are both facing in and A has an anterior placenta, so I don't feel them as much/well as I'd like.
When is your next appt? Anatomy scan on 12/17!

Right now I'm thinking pale blue and gray for their room, but we're moving at the end of the month to live with my parents until our house sells, so hopefully we get back in our own place quickly.

I wanted to do one last check in now that babies are here and I'm sitting in my hospital room the only one awake. Lol.
How far along are you? My babies were born on Saturday at 35 w 5 days!

Any updates? Alexander James was 5 lbs 8 oz and Harper Elizabeth was 5lbs 1 oz. she had to go to the NiCU for about 36 hours to stabilize her blood sugars. One thing I will say is to be prepared. Lol. I never thought I would go as early as I did. Maybe I was just in a bit of denial but I always figured I would make it to my c section date. SO I had nothing packed when my water broke and we were frantically throwing stuff in a bag. Lol. It all worked out ok but I wish I had a small bag packed with the essentials because we forgot a lot. The c section was pretty routine but the recovery has been worse this time around than with my first. All in all everything went great and we are seriously so lucky to be bringing them home today!
When is your next appt? Friday to get my staples out.

I have been feeling really good lately.  Work is going well, and I haven't been sick in awhile!

When is your next appt?

I have two appointments on Dec 18, one with MFM, one with OB.  Fetal Echos on Dec 26, and then growth on Jan 2.  I feel like my days off are consumed with appointments!

My favorite color is pink.  DDs room is light green with hot pink accents.   I am thinking the twins room will be painted light pink with grey/silver accents.  We have a really small house and with myself and 3 girls DH is going to be overwhelmed with all the pink!

How Far Are You? 28w2d

Updates? I feel like 28w was a huge checkpoint for us. We have been able to dodge the TTTS diagnosis for this long and despite wavering at or more than 20% discordance with our A twin everything seems to be going good. We scheduled our C-Section for 2/13 and I'm flipping out now about actually having a REAL date.

Next Appt - I'm going to the OB every 2 weeks now and Perinatologist every 1-2 weeks depending on what they see on scans. Next appt is Tuesday with the peri-nat.

Favorite Color - Green! We haven't even started nursery talk. This is our second pregnancy and the twins will stay in our room for a while anyway. The room that will become the nursery is currently occupied by our 2 year old. Plus, I'm too lazy to pain!!!

Di/Di Baby Girls: Nicole Elizabeth was 6 pounds and Harper Evelyn was 6 pounds 7 ounces. Both were 18 inches long. Since I'm O-, they ran blood on both girls and they have separate blood types so for sure fraternal (plus they have different features). They are taking turns at fighting jaundice (one's level will go down and the other's will go up, then at the next blood draw they swap.) Super frustrating, but if jaundice is our biggest issue we have nothing to complain about.

I'm feeling pretty good except for terrible constipation, so PLEASE take your stool softeners.

My favorite color is pink and luckily I have three girls. The twins nursery is pink, grey and white. I love it.

Good luck to all those due soon, its a wild ride. I can't believe my girls are already a week old. How is that possible?
