Ok, I've got to ask. What's with the pouches? Are they just for convenience so LO can self feed when on the go, or do you use them instead of jarred baby food when spoon feeding?

I use them instead of jarred baby food when spoon feeding. Our daycare participates in Terracycle, which is a pouch recycling program. They are also good because you can just squeeze onto a spoon and don't have to worry about contamination.
