Teething Rash

A has a rash on the side of her face.  Just on the right side, below her mouth.  I think its just from teething.  Its been there for 2 weeks.  It gets lighter and darker, but hasn't gone away on its own.

What can I do to treat it?  Just moisturize, or is there something else I can put on it?  How long will it take to go away?  (Those damn teeth need to come in!)

Probably just dry/irritated skin, especially with the cooler weather (assuming you're somewhere where it's getting cooler). Try some coconut oil or a thicker type cream like Aquaphor and it should clear up in a couple of days.

It's not a raised rash like hives, right?

Its not raised.  She had a touch of it when we went for the 1 year check up and the pedi didn't say anything, so I didn't think it was bad thing.

We use eucerin for her dryskin, so I'll try some of that on her face.

We use spectro-kids for our LO's occasional eczema and it works super well. Gone in a day. If you don't have luck with the eucerin, I strongly recommend trying this stuff out. Amazing!
