Milk challenge?

Question for those that have kids that outgrew their milk intolerance.

Did they out grow it overnight?

My 8m1w old daughter has had a milk intolerance since birth, not soy though.  I EBF and cut all dairy out and she has been great since.  Every now and then I would slip up and she would react immediately (major changes in poop) and it would last a good 3 or so days.  She would generally be happy still just major changes in poops.

About a month ago I had some chocolate (I know bad mommy) and she reacted.  Well we just had some rough days here Mon/Tues (very fussy baby), my husband had to work really late and I had a chocolate bar (Tuesday) as a sanity break.  No reaction...so I had one last night...no reaction.  I also had some cheese Doritos last night and today.  Still no reaction.  The chocolate bars and the doritos all list milk ingredients.  In the past she would have reacted.

What do I do now?  It's kind of turned into a milk challenge which I didn't mean it to.

Oddly in the last week she seems to have possibly outgrown her reflux as well as I have skipped a bunch of doses of her meds and she hasn't had any symptoms come back.  She is suddenly eating a ton of solids (BLW) AND she up and decided she can stand on her own and spent allllll day standing at various tables playing with toys (hands free).

What a week!

Any moms that have done a milk challenge have any advice?  Should I keep trying bits of milk or lay off and stop for awhile then try again?
