Vaginal Leaking?

The more pregnant I get, the more cervical mucus I have. However, today I felt a gush, and ran to the bathroom hoping it wasn't blood. It was just wet, and clear. It left a wet spot about the size of a half dollar. It did not seem to be mucusy, just wet, (like pee or water) but idk. Should I be worried?

It's most likely seminal fluid. Semen turns to a watery substance when it stays in your vagina. With your cervix closed so tightly, the semen will pool in there and dribble out later. If it has a sweet hay smell too it, go to the hospital (amniotic fluid smells like candy and grass), if it smells like normal vag aroma or almost oniony, you're probably fine. With all of those muscles getting more reactive you'll have more activity coming from your vagina.

No sex lately so it couldn't be that. I just called the OB for reassurance and they are sending me to the hospital. Wasn't expecting that.

I would expect that it's just discharge. There's a lot of that in pregnancy. Hope it's all alright at the hospital, let us know.

Happens to me all the time, I just chalked it up to the increased discharge during pregnancy.

I've had so much excess in cervical mucus I can feel it leaking out of me. Hopefully everything with you is okay!

Everything is fine. They found no amniotic fluid. They suspect just increased cervical mucus or even pee. It was out of the ordinary for me so I am glad I got checked out and everything is fine. Thanks for your well wishes!

There's an increase in discharge during pregnancy, especially going into the second trimester. It happens to me (wet and clear like you said), and I do go into the bathroom to check sometimes like "oh god, oh god, oh god," but yeah, it's normal. For some women it gets so bad that they start wearing pads!

Yeah my undies are wet with pee regularly now no matter how often I go!

Eta: I don't even notice I've "leaked" until I use the restroom.

I've been really moist now that I'm in the 2nd tri... May start wearing a panty liner for cleanliness.

Glad that the gush was nothing to worry about. Pregnancy does do weird things to us

My doctor kinda freaked me out today,  i called and told them i was having watery discharge and they made me an appointment for monday. now i am really worried that something is wrong.  hopefully its just just normal discharge.
