We are doing two pictures. One of the US and one of DH and I with a heart on my belly and we aren't sending them out til the day after Christmas so we can tell our parents and siblings on Christmas.
I haven't decided yet. Some days I'm all for it, others I just want to quietly let the news out. If we do go this route, I'm thinking of something with a few pictures on it, one for DH and I, one with DS, and one with something "cute baby" like a onesie or booties.
I'm thinking of it. I've seen cute ones on Pinterest. Maybe have the kids hold chalkboards with oldest written and the other say youngest but crossed out and middle written in.
Ours has a pic of DH, our two pups, and I with a pair of baby shoes and says "Our Christmas miracle came early this year. Our family is growing by two feet."
I will be just shy of 14 weeks on Christmas day. I'm hoping to have an ultrasound picture that I can copy and put into my mom's purse (Coach, wicked cheap clearance factory sale, woowoo), and so she'll see the purse first and freak, then she'll see the picture. *Hoping*

We have a frame that says coming soon at the top and were going to put the U/S picture in it and put July 2014 at the bottom. That will be for our parents. For mine and his sister we are going to get them Christmas cards that say "aunt" on them (since neither of them are aunts now) and see if they catch on.
I'd love to wait until Christmas, but I'll be showing enough to not be able to hide it until then. We will be telling families at Thanksgiving if they haven't figured it out by then.

We must live parallel lives. I was thinking of the same thing, and we seem to have the same taste in names too.
We really must lead parallel lives! I wanted to name our first, Atticus. And my husband is pushing for Samuel if we have a 3rd boy.
