I am dead against circ'ing our son and DH is for, but his only argument is "tradition". I don't think that is a very strong argument. My best friend has two boys who are not and she never has issues... I believe as long as you are educated on it and know how to take care of it and teach your son to take care of it you shouldn't have issues... Just the way you would teach a little girl to clean herself. I am mainly looking for a good way to talk to DH about this without making him shut down. My biggest cons are: I don't want to hurt my son, (even though he will never remember it) and it is medically unnecessary and we are not religious. And the men that I have met/been with before marriage that weren't didn't ever even mention it. And I usually couldn't tell! I am looking for a good argument that will make my husband see it my way. Please help!

If you were due in April it's a bit odd and off put to just be discussing circumcision
