VBAC

intro and hernia question

Hello!
I'm 28 weeks pregnant with DD#2.  I had DD#1 by c-section in June 2011.  The surgery went well and I recovered just fine.  My OB all along assured me I am an excellent candidate for a VBAC.
I'm open to doing either VBAC or CS for DD#2, whichever is best for her.  A CS is what I know. On the other hand, a VBAC may be less invasive.  I just found out I have a hernia right below my belly button.  It's about the size of an avocado seed.  I'm wondering if one way of baby delivery is better than the other considering this.  It seems like all of the pushing involved in a VBAC could aggravate it.  I have another dr appt in 10 days.  I will ask my OB about this then.  In the mean time, any advice is appreciated.  TIA!!!
