Back to the OB today-Update!

I have an NST this morning and my OB said that they would discuss induction, whatever that means. I swear, if they tell me that they wait until 42 weeks I will have a tantrum that rivals anything my 2 year old would do.

I am so f'ing uncomfortable and irritable. I can't even stand listening to my DH drink coffee at this point. Just everything is driving me crazy. At 40 weeks 3 days today. Ugh! Get this baby out of me.

Update: so my hospital considers 40w 4 days as a medical reason to induce and my OB was able to get to get me in tomorrow morning at 6am! I'm feeling so relieved. I also had my membranes stripped, so I am really ready to go now.

Please don't mention anything on Facebook, if you know me in real life. I'll post there once the baby is here.

Yeah, especially since there is no mistaking your due date I hope they can do it sooner. I am so sorry you are uncomfortable. I cannot believe you are going to meet your LO soon!!!

I hear yah! I went to 41w2d and it was torture!!!! In my city they won't induce for post dates until 41w. But they don't wait until 42w that's for sure! GL.

Did you go late with number 1? if so - how long?

If it makes you feel any better - my OB told me that 90% of woman go within 5 days of their due date on either side, so dare to dream you only have another day or two

My experience has been similar to what @kaf7 said. The hospital will not allow induction before 41w, unless there is medical indication.  Though b/c I am AMA, my OB didn't want me to wait until 42w.  M ended up being born 41w1d.  The wait post-due date was the worst, I must say.
