Ok so I had my first round with injectables and iui. My RE also had me do a booster(ovidrel) 7 days post iui. I was supposed to come in and test 18 dpiui if no period. I started testing on day 6 post booster and have gotten positives everyday. I am an ER nurse and had one of the ER docs write me a script on Monday and had my beta done (8dp ovidrel) and it was 145. I then did it on Wednesday and it was 172(10dp ovidrel).. Told my RE and he said they don't like to test that early cause early beta numbers can be 'tricky' and I may still have booster in my system. Went in for my first 'official' beta yesterday(day 12povidrel booster) and it was 137 with progesterone 61. It was a different lab. Thoughts anyone? I was dx with DOR with an amh of 0.56 and FSH of 14.8. I'm 40' started acu immediately after finding that out and switched RE cause he was negative about results. I had 5 follicles measuring 16-20 2 day before back to back iuis.

    I haven't been in your situation, but I do understand that being consistent with the labs is important.

    When is your next beta? Unfortunatley I think only time will tell.

    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm a little confused. You took your trigger (Ovidrel) twice in the same cycle? I'm not familiar with the protocol. Why does your RE have you doing this?

    sorry I don't know what to tell you... I have also never heard of two boosters.... I guess all you can do is wait... good luck!

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    All I can say is it's probably best to wait and follow your doctor's instructions for testing, rather than driving yourself crazy with early testing and ambiguous results you don't even trust anyways.
