    I'm still new to this group and recently posted but I'll update anyways!

    We're going for our first retrieval ever tomorrow (Tuesday) first thing in the morning. At last count, I had 7 follicles (4 right, 3 left) with 5 of those being "nice looking" follicles between 18-22 yesterday (Sunday). I still had one more shot of 150IU of Gonal F last night as well as my HCG trigger, so I'm hoping we had a little more growth and some of my underachievers have turned into all stars. My RE thinks we may have 5 eggs. I get ativan prior to and fentanyl by IV during, so my fingers are crossed that I won't be in agony. 

    They're going to do some extra testing on DH's sample tomorrow morning prior to trying to fertilize so they can see if we 'need' ICSI. Where we live, ICSI is $1500 extra and is only reserved for those who need it because of genetic or binding issues. I trust in our RE that they'll make the best decision. 

    So we go home tomorrow 2 hour after the procedure. I hope to sleep all the way home and the rest of the day, since I work on Wednesday! Then we are really really hoping we won't have to come back on day 3 and the majority of our embryos will last until day 5 for an eSET with a few to spare. Yeah, I know - wishful thinking. 

    QOTW: No Halloween parties, since we've been stuck out of town with monitoring appts. I do need to get a costume together ASAP for our workplace Halloween day. My fave costume was when I went as a bear when I was around 3yrs old - my mom made it and it was sweet. My DH is famous for his crazy costumes. Last year, he built himself a super detailed 'flux capacitor' costume (back to the future) and people are still talking about it!

    *unexplained infertility* 

    Regularly access alternative medicine to supplement a lack of resources in our geographical area.
    • Three rounds of clomid (50mg days 3-7) were useless.
    • IUI#1 w/clomid & HCG in May 2013, BFN.
    • IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
    • IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
    • IVF#1 - Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
    • IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.

    Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .

    Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October

    IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
    ET delayed due to OHSS 
    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
    FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

    So sorry my signature will not update. any advice appreciated. i have hit save 20 times at least. I am trying to be patient in the oh so long 2WW. My husband and I are zombies this year. I bit of a cop out since we had all the bloody clothes and makeup from another year but we can't get friends to go with us to the events we used to attend. They all have kids and have moved to daytime fall events instead of night costume events.
    TTC since 5/11 both uf us are >35
    Clomid 4cycles pregnancy ended in MC 6/12
    IUI #1,2, 3 and 4 ALL BFN.
    Moved on to IVF in Jan. 2013 Beta #1 288, Beta #2 529 Heartbeat on 2/8! Miscarriage at 15 weeks. 4 months to be complete. Every test known to science. No known reason for MC. FET Oct 2013 BFP on 11/2. Beta# 1 910.     @kristinwhit where are you trying to change your siggy at? I have had no trouble when I clicked on the presences icon (looks like person's head at the top right.  Click on preferences and then signature settings.

    I too just got cancelled.  No fun at all @DoublePortion!  My lining never even got to 7.  :-(

    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET

    I'm so sorry to read this @Neesey, I was hoping some of those at home remedies would have helped you out. I wish you the best going forward.

    Thanks @Sunny B.  I chugged down $30 worth of POM over the weekend trying to get it to thicken up.

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining

    April 2015: FET #2.1

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    IUI #1-5: BFN
    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
    Beta #3 11/29 (18dpo/13dp5dt) = 1,997 ~ Beta #4 12/1 (20dpo/15dp5dt) = 3,403

    Sounds like the weekend is going to be full of POM mimosas!  Looking forward to making one with my last bottle.

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.

    Neesey and Double Portion, sorry to hear about your cancels. 


    I've been out of the loop but started stimming on 10/22. Had ultrasounds on Sunday and Tuesday and have 7 growing follicles. Next ultrasound is tomorrow, possibly retrieval Sat/Sun or Monday depending on how I do.....so perhaps I'm not a Pumpkin either since retrieval is now going to be in November....

    Good luck to everyone with transfers/retrievals/upcoming betas!

    IVF # 1:BCPs then antagonist. Cancelled for poor response
    IVF #2: no BCPs then MDL: 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized, 2 transferred at day 2-BFN
    IVF #3 New RE! BCPs then MDL: 8 retrieved, 8 fertilized, 2 transferred day 5-BFN
    IVF #4 October 2013. BCPs then MDL: 8 R, 8F, 2 transferred day 5 in Nov--BFP!! 
    December 2013: Ultrasound shows a single intrauterine pregnancy!
