Another from me... Needing any positive thoughts and encouragement....

So I wrote a few days ago that the night of my transfer my baby got the flu, well turns out, I got it too! So I spent the night saturday night super sick, had a fever, and I seem to be on the mend now, but I am feeling defeated, like too many things have happened to let these little embys stick... Any positive thoughts, or stories would make me feel better right now... 

I just cant help feeling like this is a no go from the get go...

BTW: the LO is doing great! No issues at all, so thats good!

Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    Poor thing, you've had a rough time. Try to stay hydrated and I hope you feel better soon. FX your illness didn't harm anything.

    Yuck for the flu! So sorry you are feeling so poorly. My sister had a miserable case of the flu just after she learned of her pregnancy and her LO is 6 weeks old. You never know!! I once heard that illness in the 2ww can increase the likelihood of pregnancy since it redirects your immune system to fight off the virus instead of fighting the embryo(s). Now, I have absolutely NO idea if this is fact or fiction, but I say go with it!! I hope you feel better soon and I'm keeping everything crossed for you and your embryos!!

    I know the feeling! After our second transfer I didn't have a good feeling about it and also felt like it was a no go from the get go. Turns out you never know because now I am 19 weeks along!

    Also, my girlfriend had the flu for weeks in the first trimester and she is delivering a healthy baby tomorrow. :)
