I am not sure if this is some sort of bite or skin infection? My 13 month old just developed this red mark on his arm with a white spot in the middle...does anyone know what this may be?
Does it itch or bother him at all? I just got bitten by an ant in my backyard this past weekend and it looks just like that with the white spot in the middle and everything.
It might be a flea bite, we have been struggling getting rid of fleas (thankfully I think we have gotten rid of them finally), but his other bites didn't look like this with the white in the middle, I wanted to make sure no one thought it looked like ringworm or anything like that. Thanks for the feedback!
Definitely not ring worm. DS had a few spots like this on his arms and chest that showed up suddenly and disappeared just as quick. They didn't appear to bother him, so I didn't worry.
My daughter got this too and we had no idea what it was. It had the white spot in the middle as well. We just put neosporine on it and it went away. It never seemed to bother her.
I think its eczema. DD had a similar spot on the back of her leg, behind her knee. I had the dr check it out at her next appt and she said it was just eczema and to use aveeno products which have made it disappear.
