Re: RLR treatment?
I like tub or laundry sink with the hottest water you can get. Then use tongs to sort of wring them out and put in back in the washer for 3-5 rinses. Washer would work, but I feel like you really need 1 pack of RLR for every 10-15 diapers that way. I can make 1 pack work for 30 ish diapers if I do it in my laundry sink.
I'm stripping today too, while baking a cake for DH's birthday.

Are you stipping to remove detergent or mineral build-up? Then I'd do all parts of the diapers.
If you are trying to remove something specific that's only on the shells (like desitin) then obviously you could skip inserts.
Buildup, so all parts now soaking!! Thanks Will be doing the other half of the stash tomorrow while the sun is still warm here

@pb&fluff Oh no! Removing desitin is rough. You can try soaking for a couple hours in hot water with RLR or washing soda, but it probably won't work.
I'd probably start by filling up your sink with hot water & add squirt or two of blue dawn dish soap. Try swishing around and soaking first. If that doesn't get it all the way out then try scrubbing the desitin area with a toothbrush. Use extra blue dawn if needed. Then rinse, rinse and more rinse to be sure you get all the dawn out.
Lastly, get rid of all the Desitin at daycare!!
Good luck!!
