My DH has been all over Vera lately. He refers to our (yet to be conceived) child as Vera. Like "Someday we'll take Rhett and Vera to Europe...."
Anyway, I think it's a lovely name. My issue with it (I'm still trying to decide if it's a deal breaker) is that I think it would be really annoying to have a name with two equally correct and used pronunciations. I'd hate to have to correct people all the time. Also, I can't decide which pronunciation I like more.
What are the two pronunciations of Vera? The only one I know is vee-rah.
I immediately thought of it as "vair-uh". If you prefer veer uh you could alter thespelling a bit. I love simple but unique names! Not so sure about Quinn though.

I would pronounce it Veer-uh....though I am not sure how I would alter the spelling to imply that. How would you spell it??
