Can someone help me with formatting?

I still can't figure out how to actually make a new paragraph in my replies. It looks right when I type it but then it doesn't show up when I post. I know there were directions when the boards switched over but could someone please tell me again? Thanks!

    Are you on an iPad? I use the code <*br><*br> without the stars when I want to break a new paragraph in my replies.
