One of the nurses from our state has been sent to Afghanistan with the National Guard and is working with women and children there. She has sent a request back to our school if anyone has extra toiletries (shampoo, soap, hand cream, kotex, etc.) for women or blankets for kids we will be sending them to her over there and she will be making sure they get directly to the people that need them. Since our LOs are now beyond the point of really needing the little blankets, if you wanted to get rid of them I would be happy to take them so they can be donated to this cause, or anything else mentioned. If anyone is interested please let me know and I can PM my address.
