DD has an ear infection

Sorry i have been just lurking this week. The other day ( Tues) I had to go get DD from daycare because she was running a fever(102). We went to the doc and he said she had some fluid in the ear. Got a prescription. She has been really good, only cries when the tylenol wears off. Last night she coughed the entire night. She coughed so bad she threw up 3 separate times and now she has diarrhea. I feel so bad that my little girl is sick, but I am also throwing a pity party because I am going on 3 days with very little sleep.

Any of y'all have the coughing/shaking/throwing up thing with an ear infection before? Any hints or tricks to help?

we've never had an ear infection but DS1 has been on antibiotics. Could those be causing the vomit and diarrhea?

I think the diarrhea is mainly because she has been drinking like crazy but not very hungry. Her vomiting seems to be caused by the coughing so much? My main worry was her shaking but my mom said that was common with high fever. I just hate that she feels bad.
