Babies on the Brain

Weird feelings....

I think I'm pregnant, but I don't want to take a pregnancy test until I'm late. It's been 16 days since I had sex and I'm experiencing nausia. My question is this... for the past 3 days, I've been feeling this "popping" sensation in my uterus. Has anyone ever experienced this and is it normal this soon? I'm 41 with grown children and I don't remember having this feeling back when I was pregnant with my boys...

  • Oh, wow... Is it that serious??? My bad... thought this was a friendly community. My bad... I'll move on!
  • Loading the player...
  • We can be very friendly. If you would have read anything on this site you would know we cannot tell you what is up with your lady bits. Maybe it's menopause

  • How many bingo spots does this count for?
  • I did not ask anyone to tell me if I was pregnant. I asked if anyone has experienced a feeling within themselves. I live on the concept of if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. Anyone that is annoyed by a post has issues and I wouldn't want to hear from someone so negative anyway. Geesh! Don't worry.. I won't post here again. I don't associate with negativity.
  • I've had other symptons, but it doesn't matter if I was or were not. I asked a question about what others have felt because I like hearing other people's experiences. I do plan to get a test real soon. I just didn't understand the need for the attack. No biggie... As stated earlier... I'll move on. This is not the site for me. God Bless...

No, I didn't read anything that said such at thing. I saw a message board entitled "babies on the brain" and wanted to hear about other women's experience. Why you felt the need to curse or insult was uncalled for. And I pray you are not pregnant because I feel sorry for your unborn child if you are that much of a nasty talking bitch!

So let me get this straight.  It is ok for you to call someone a nasty talking bitch for what you deem to be bad behavior, but another poster can't say "  F people stop with the " Am I pregnant " posts?

Please enlighten me.  Why is it ok for you and not others ?

Oh and no my uterus never made popping noises.

  • I didn't say fucking people. I said fucking post

  • I treat people how they DESERVE to be treated. Whether you said "fucking post" or "people", it was an offensive response to MY post. I understand the concept very well, and my reaction to a nasty response has nothing to do with that concept at all. I call it like I see it! Her response made her out to be a bitch in my eyes. This message board should not be called Babies on the Brain. It should be called... Let's find the best way to make newcomers feel unwelcomed. The sad part is, I've tried to delete my profile. So if anyone can be so nice enough to inform me how to do that, I would be out of your hair and you can continue to grumble amongst yourselves. And for the ppl who are inboxing me and apologizing for this behavior, please state your apologies here for everyone to see. I'm sure not everyone on this web site is full of hate.
  • And again... No where in my post am I asking ANYONE if I am pregnant. Can you people read and comprehend?

Oh  ok.  So it is ok for you and not for her.  Gotcha.
  • None of this is okay and its sad that adults can't have a grown discussion about bringing life into this world without a negative, nasty response. Take it like you see it, but I'm not the one to sit back and take some childish internet bullying. Yeah, I can get as slick mouth as the next, but only when provoked. I don't know what your reaction would have been, Disneygeek77, to coming a message board and having your first response to your first innocent post get cursed at, but my reaction was to call her a bitch. It's funny how you all are okay with that and making me out to be the bad person. Entertaining....

  • MauiBliss... thank you for you cynical instructions, but none of that is working on this computer.. But it's fine. I'm actually having fun now just to see how many more haters are in the room. lol!
  • This SN is setting off bells

Nope, just think it is interesting that you think it is ok to name call, but someone else can't say your post was annoying and you should take a few seconds to look a bit before asking a question.

But I am the type to call them as I see them.

  • I don't have a problem at all with anyone saying a thing about being annoyed. That's your prerogative. I have an issue with being cursed at. My issue was with the very first responder who felt the need to drop the "f" bond on my post, and yes... I cursed back, at that one person. Why you all are choosing to defend her is beyond me, but so be it. I'm a big girl. I can defend myself. And me choosing to stay and respond is my business, just like it is yours... because now its interesting to me to see how far some of you will go to antagonize me on a so called pregnancy support chat group, or at least that is what I was told the group was. Boy was I misinformed!
  • It's silly to ask women what they experience during their pregnancy???? Wow!!! There must be a WHOLE lot of silly women in the world because I got asked all kinds of questions when I was pregnant with my boys. I asked about something that happened to me and wanted to know if anyone else experienced it... and that's something to be annoyed with and cursed at??? Who are you people??? SMH!
  • Not once did I ask anyone to PREDICT whether or not I was pregnant.
  • Upset? Who said I was upset. You are all doing exactly what I wanted to do in the first place.... Pass my time until my husband got home with a discussion. This was not the discussion I was hoping for, but it's entertaining nonetheless... actually even more so.
  • Nice to meet you Humble... that's the nicest response I've gotten in here all day. lol!
  • How do you people know what I look like!? /:)

  • So, fredalina... you don't know what's happening in your own body? If someone comes to you and ask you what YOU experienced in your first trimester, you can't tell them? If you can't... then that's what is stupid.... lol! Leave the drugs alone... :)

NOPE... DON'T SEE WHERE I ASKED ANYONE TO PREDICT MY PREGNANCY... WHAT DID YOU ALL READ???
  • But you've been pregnant before... Why do you need any one on the interwebz to share experiences with you and you're not even 100% sure you're pregnant? The weird feeling in you're feeling could be a few things, but no one here is going to be able to 100% confirm that what you're feeling is pregnancy related or something else. Posting something like this, you might as well go to Dr. Google or WebMD and check out their symptom checker. Or, even better, you could just take a test now or wait to take a test.

If you tracked or temped to keep in tune with your body, you would be able to know when you ovulated. If you researched TTCing, you would know after you have sex in your fertile window, you have a two week wait period. So assuming you don't know exactly when you ovulated, the only thing you have to go by to know if you are pregnant is an HPT.

Sure you can ask a bunch of strangers if they experienced the same things, and ended up pregnant, which is basically asking "Could I be pregnant with these symptoms", but every single woman's body is different. And a lot of symptoms of pregnancy are also typical period symptoms. You just become more aware of what your body is doing because you are TTC.

Go away and learn about your body a little, instead of wasting your time acting like a bitch while calling everyone else bitches.

  • I don't NEED anybody to do anything. If you must know... I was bored at work today. I asked a coworker if she ever experience what I felt... she said no, but to go on a discussion group to see if it's common or if someone may have. I've been in a ton of discussion groups with people who like to share their experiences with a lot of things. This is my first experience where everyone wanted to burn me at the stake for asking a question (lol) and its really quite entertaining to see how far you all are going with this. And who I am? I am a mother of grown boys who still have a healthy body to plan for another child, and the only conclusion that I come up with for people with so much negativity are people on drugs....

  • I don't lurk... I saw "babies on the brain"... so I asked... My prerogative!

Are you a Smurf? Because this fantasy world you live in is ridiculous. I think you are mistaking truth and realistic input, as well as your lack of lurking and understanding of entering a community as negativity.

Sure, someone can tell you what  you want to hear, but it will not give you a better idea of if you are pregnant. You know what will? An HPT.

Or better yet, check out those forums where people love to share their experiences. They seemed better suited for your land of rainbows and love.

  • OP, you asked this question on 1st. Why do you keep coming back over here?
  • Some how, you all got confused into thinking I was trying to figure out if I was pregnant. Where that notion came from, I do not know. If you never experienced what I asked, all you had to do was go to the next post. But noooooooo!!!! lol!!!! Everyone here feels the need to be inconsiderate and bash. Why??? Who knows... Could it be because I called someone that dropped the "f" bomb on my post a bitch? If the shoe fits..... Funny thing about living in America and being on the internet... I can do what I want. So all the taunting and insults here only make me laugh, and gives me something to show my husband when he gets home from work so he can laugh too...
  • MauiBliss... nope. lol! I want to see how many more FUCKS I can get from all you beautiful mothers to be. :)
  • Wasn't me hun... haven't been on a message board like this since my kids were babies. The people back then were waaaayyyy nicer. If they felt you were in the wrong chat room, guess what? They would kindly instruct where to go without the "fucks", and accusing someone of going thru menopause (lol), and admitted to being annoyed by a post. smh! And there used to be Admins that stopped internet bullying because this is all this is. You ladies are some very angry individuals. Do any of you go to church? Hmmmm.....
