So ... my DCP is my cousin. She's a SAHM and watches my DD 4 days a week. It's worked out pretty well for us. We get a close family member to watch our DD and DD gets 1-on-1 attention while my cousin's kids are in school. And my cousin makes a few extra bucks in the process.
So, yesterday when I was picking DD up from my cousin's, my cousin mentioned something about her birthday (which is today). D'oh, I had totally forgotten! We haven't done cards for each others birthdays IN YEARS! But as I was driving home, I thought I should make a card for her from DD. Basically have DD scribble on some paper and I'd write some words, etc. LOL!
But I have very little time with DD at night. We get home at 6:00, nurse, eat, bath, nurse, and asleep by 8:00. So needless to say as soon as she was asleep, I was like, crap! I forgot to have DD make a card!
I'm feeling pretty horrible about it! It's not like this is a teacher at DC, it's my cousin! Would it look bad if my cousin got her card later this week (after I've had more time with DD)? Kicking myself in the butt. Wish I would have remembered earlier and we could have done it this past weekend!
I'm the worst!

At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
