About a year ago I had a m/c. We have been trying ever since then. I cound out via two preggo tests that I am pregnant. I went in for a blood test today and got a call back from a very very rude and snobish nurse that my levels are at 11 and they wont count this as a viable pregnancy unless my levels are at 15. I tried asking her what all of it meant but all she could tell me is to come back for another test on friday. I have irregular periods and can never tell when i obvulate. I know I can carry a child(i hae a 4 year old boy) I am really scared that this could be another m/c... : ( Does anyone have any advice or wisdom to share with me?

Sorry this forum wasnt really that welcoming to you. I got a similar kind of reaction when i made my first thread. I'm not pregnant yet but they told me not even to bother posting about getting bfp here and it kind of hurt my feelings since we've all had a loss and thats why were posting here.
I hope your levels are rising, and the nurses arent even allowed to interpret results for you, thats the dr's job so dont take her too seriously.
I'm sorry you felt unwelcome here, both of you. It isn't *you* that we aren't welcoming towards at all. We just have a hard time with relative strangers parading a pregnancy or potential pregnancy in our faces. Also, with questions like the original one, none of us have hopeful happy ending stories. The last thing someone needs when they are scared are a bunch of women saying "Yup, happened to me and I lost the baby." We don't want to crush the hope you have left.
That said, Delica, I pray you are not miscarrying. I hope with every fiber of my being that this is just some random spotting and all is progressing perfectly. If it isn't, we'll be here for you as will the ladies on the Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss board.
If you are still pregnant, the Pregnant After Loss board is a great, safe, fun place to share your journey and get support.
