Precursor to..?

DS learned to roll from back to belly this week! We're so proud of him. He can now "crawl" backwards, in circles both ways, push himself up on his hands, and can get his torso off th ground. Lately his new thing is while laying on his stomach is sticking his butt in the air. What's this a precursor to, if anything? Crawling forward?
