Baby Names

Team green name question

We decided to go team green for number 3. Our oldest two are Silas and Elijah. For a boy this time we are going to go with Ezra Lyall Robert (Lyall is after my grandpa who died when I was 4 months old and Robert is after DH's cousin who is more like a brother to him). Today my six year old niece said we were having a girl and we should name her Elizabeth. And I really like it. The middle names will be Darlene Alexandra (Darlene after my mom and Alexandra after DH). What do you think of Elizabeth and Ezra and do they go with my older boys names?
Loving life with two boys who are 10 months apart and can't wait for team green baby to join us and thinking daily about our angel who was with us for a very short time. • I love all your name choices and little kids are often right when guessing baby gender :)

The only issue I *kind of* have is that Elijah, Ezra and Elizabeth all start with E and then there is Silas.... but I'm sure that's just me
    ;)

  • I love Ezra and Elizabeth. I do think Elijah and Elizabeth are a bit similar though. Other girls name suggestions: Natalie, Gretchen, Caroline, Hannah

No it's me too. I have cousins named Emily, Eric and Brian . . . I always wondered if Brian felt left out.

Both are great names, but the double E thing makes me feel like Silas is being left out.

  • I was an M with two A siblings. Not a big deal. Didn't feel left out and very few people mentioned it. I'm not a huge fan of sticking to one letter for all your kids. They are their own people. Just give them names you love.
  • I love your choices actually and think they flow very well together. I didn't even take notice of the two E's until others mentioned it. Personally I wouldn't see it as a problem.
