I've got someone on my feed who uses like 100 hashtags at a time. She'll post a picture of her meal and it will be like #vegetable #meal #dinner #dinnerplate #fork #knife #tasty #yum #healthyeating #veggies #food. This is not an exaggeration.

My kid went to school dressed like a clown today. She had on black skinny jeans with white polka dots, a white tee with metallic gold design that is old and ratty TUCKED INTO HER SKINNY JEANS, a pink belt with these rosette type things on it, and navy blue Keds. I pointed out that nothing in her outfit went with anything else in the outfit, and she rolled her eyes at me and acted like I'm an idiot that doesn't know anything. So I let her go to school like that.

The flameful part is that I kind of hope she gets made fun of. Maybe then she'll realize I actually do know what the fuck I'm talking about.

When I am reading a good book or doing a puzzle I have to finish it. As quickly as possible. Which means my kids get a lot of extra TV time.

DD is the smallest, youngest and most inexperienced in her gymnastics class that we just started.

At the end of class, all the kids get to jump in the foam pit but so far DD has been hesitant and slides in like you would a pool. We talked it up this week that she wanted to jump in and yesterday I watched her wuss out again and I was disappointed.

I was disappointed....by a three year old... in her third gymnastics class. I AM that mom.

My toddler doesn't like bread. So, no sandwiches ever. She also won't eat mashed potatoes (or sweet potatoes) and is not real big on mac & cheese. I think she's broken.

@prncebride Yea, that's our theory. It's not a big deal, I just find it funny that she doesn't eat most of the foods that kids typically love. Oh, she also won't eat cake, or most other sweets unless it has chocolate. Chicken nuggets are hit or miss. She does love cheeseburgers (no bun) and I can give her a bowl of broccoli or green beens for lunch and she is happy as a clam.

This was me with DD1 and soccer. I stopped going. DH had to finish her season out with her. I just couldn't take it that she didn't have the killer instinct at 3.

I worry that I will be this way too.  Actually... I'm sure I will be this way... not that I give a shit about who wins and who loses, but I want DS to be out there kicking some ass....

This is me, totally. I want DDs to be the best at everything. And, so, rather than give her a complex about never being able to live up to mommy's dreams for her, I let DH take her, because he is happy just to watch her run around in pigtails.

She keeps telling me she will spend her winter in the hospital again like last year when she was in daycare. I get she was really sick, trust me Mom. I lived at the hospital with her. She needs to exposed to more germs or her body will keep getting this sick.

That's awful that she makes you feel that way. I'm really sorry.

I understand where you are coming from. I am one of those people who feel kids need to be socialized, without parents (or grandparents) around for at least a little bit while they are still young. I think shy kids benefit the most from it.

But, its awesome that you can save the money.

I bought an elliptical machine back in April. They were supposed to assemble it at the store, but when I went to pick it up, they hadn't. I took it anyway and planned to put it together myself. Five months later it is still in its giant box in my bedroom. #iwillbefatforever

In a cute sidenote, my son was playing in my room a few weeks ago and points to the box and says, "N-O-R-D-I-C-T-R-A-C-K spells box. That spells box."  Whomp whomp.

Today, the crusty old homeless man that I pass every morning on my way to my office told me that I "look very nice".  He seriously has flies circling his head and I am pretty he has at least one glass eye.

Still, it totally made my day.

When my family was in town last week, all the guys went tandem skydiving for my brothers bday. Even my 65yo dad went. My SIL is just out of 1st tri and was super bummed she couldn't go too.
I was very very very pleased to have been unable to go due to pregnancy. I have exactly zero desire to jump out of a plane. Maybe I have noadrenalinitis.
