Hi all,
I am newly pregnant after my first month with Femara, following an IUI. My first beta, at 13dpo was 321. My second, at 17dpo, was 2180. I went in this morning (18dpo, or 4w4d) for an ultrasound, since my beta levels were high enough that they thought they'd be able to see something. There was indeed one nice sac in there, but the doctor was cagey about whether or not we could rely on that (i.e., there still could be twins). He noted that my levels are pretty high such that there could be some other sac hiding or still developing, but that (a) I could just be a HCG producing machine having a nice healthy singleton pregnancy or (b) I could be a couple of days further along than we realize. I'm not sure how (b) is possible given that we know *exactly* when we conceived, but maybe it has something to do with time of implantation?
Either way, I'm kinda freaking out. We have a 16 month old daughter (conceived with injectables and IUI), and we specifically didn't want to use injectables again because of the multiples risk. We scheduled another ultrasound for next Friday, and while I assume we'll know more then, I'm basically dying in the meantime.
Anyone had something like this happen?

Awesome - thanks, guys!
(TJ - I agree, the levels don't seem all that crazy high to me, but what do I know?)

This is what I was going to say. 4wks4days is definitely too early to say for sure though. FWIW, my DS was 27 months old when my twins were born and things are not nearly as difficult as i imagined they would be. Congratulations and GL!
