Anyone gone to jury duty while breastfeeding?

I got my summons in the mail, and I'm not sure how to work it out. I actually wouldn't mind doing it, since it would get me out of work, but would need to figure out the pumping situation. Would you recommend deferring? And if so, do I need a doctor's certification?

I would also not go while pumping.  Also depending on your state, you may have a law that specifically says nursing mothers are exempt from jury duty (regardless if you pump).  In IL the law states: 

Any mother nursing her child shall, upon request, be excused from jury service. 

That's it.  Plain and simple, so just ask or look up the law in your state.
