Let's try this again. I typed this whole thing out and then had a computer malfunction.

Hi everyone! I hope you don't mind this being a little early but, I'm motivated and actually on the computer! I'm usually on my phone.

So please give a brief history and current status of where you are at now.

Me: DS is 20 months old and was a natural surprise after 4 years of MFI. We are currently on the 4th cycle TTC #2 ( but have never prevented. ever. We have never used contraception the entire 6 years of marriage). But the past 4 months we have been trying with timed intercourse. This month will be the first month with acupuncture and herbs! I'm currently on CD 11 - waiting to O.

2.) Is anyone following the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? How do you feel about the casting decisions of Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Charlie Hunnam (Christian Grey)?

Me:

1.) No, I'm not currently reading anything. The first question has an ulterior motive in that I need something good to read.
2.) I'm not familiar with either Dakota or Charlie. I think she is an OK choice but, I was personally hoping for Alexander Skasgard to play Christian Grey. I think the Charlie guy will be OK but in the pictures I've seen he looks too "rugged" and I feel like hair, makeup, and wardrobe will have to "spiff" him up some to be true to the role. I'm a total book-to-film adaptation nerd and it is about the only time I actually go to the movies.
3.) Yes, I'm excited for Halloween. I'm brainstorming on a costume for DS. I'm thinking pirate.

Anyway, hope we get some BFPs this month Keep the ball rolling ladies!

DD is 4 and was conceived naturally. We are on cycle #10 of TTC#2. I have a short LP, 7-8 days. This is my second month of Clomid, 100mg. I started a list of side effects bc I get a new one every day! 1. I run a book club at our local library. The current selection is "Water for Elephants," but I haven't started it yet. 2. I never read the 50 Shades books, so I'm blasé about who they chose. 3. Yes, I'm getting ready for Halloween! DD is going as Ariel. I bought some material to make the tail already.

*sig warning* I hope it's ok for me to comment on Charlie as CG....DH and I are addicted to Sons of Anarchy. His character is a little grungy for my taste, but I think he will be a great CG! He's got a good-guy heart with a really shady, angry, full of secrets kind of vibe. His soa photos are eh (unless you're into the greasy, long hair, long facial hair biker look...) but I saw another head shot of his and he looked much more Grey! I was worried they were going to pick R Patz!!

I have not watched Sons of Anarchy. I will have to check it out so I can check out Charlie. Glad he has the angry secrets vibe going on! That's good to hear. I actually like R Patz but I don't think he is right for the part as CG and I feel like once he's played such a big role in Twilight, it would be hard (for me as a fan of both) to picture him as both Edward and Christian... I need to separate the two.  But - I've just stuck my own foot in my mouth because I like Alexander Skasgard in the TrueBlood series as Eric Northman and think he would make a good CG (because he plays the dark bad boy thing TB as well) I don't know. I'm such a nerd.

That is cool you run a book club! I haven't read Water For Elephants (but did enjoy the movie). I'm sure the book is better (they always are IMO)  And I love Ariel!

Me: DD is almost 22 months, conceived the first month we tried (oh to be that oblivious again!). Currently in our 8th cycle after a loss of ttc #2. I'm currently on CD18. My BBT battery died this morning, but I'm pretty sure I O'd yesterday. I'm hoping and praying this is our month for a few reasons: I got KO'd a year ago this week (ended in a loss at 15 weeks), I'm a teacher & May is the perfect month to have a baby with regards to maternity leave, and if we're not successful, I'll begin IVF treatments when AF arrives (MH has 2% morphology).

Hi everyone, 

I am CD7 waiting to track my O. To start IVF#1.  Got the call yesterday for my meds delivery and payment. One word: OUCH. The cost is unbelievable. 

I have a blocked right tube, and a hydro in my left. After retrieval in October, they will do surgery in November to remove my tubes, to increase our changes for implantation. 

I have a DS from a long ago previous relationship.  

1.)  Is anyone reading anything good lately? I am reading The Tale of the Body Thief (Interview with a Vampire series) 

2.) Is anyone following the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? How do you feel about the casting decisions of Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Charlie Hunnam (Christian Grey)?KC1212 Alexander Skasgard would have been a LOVELY choice. ) 

3.) Is anyone else excited for Halloween? Yes, we always do up our yard, and dress up.  Usually I sit in the yard dressed up with a Jason mask, and a freezer suit and scare kids. (older kids, not little ones) Just by moving or changing positions when they aren't looking. LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween.

Cycle 9 of TTC #2.  Dx with immature corpus luteum which releases immature eggs and has caused a LPD, coupled with low progesterone.  Was told to try clomid this cycle but opted to try no meds and work on relaxing, getting happy and relying on acupuncture.  It's my first cycle without temping since February 2011!!

1.)  Is anyone reading anything good lately? Not at all... I just have no time to read anymore.

2.) Is anyone following the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? How do you feel about the casting decisions of Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Charlie Hunnam (Christian Grey)? I never read the book so I have no interest in the casting... but I'm interested to see the movie when it comes out in 2014.

3.) Is anyone else excited for Halloween?  OMG yes yes yes! It's my FAVORITE holiday.  I'm a Halloween addict.  I'm already starting to decorate

Me: I've been MIA because I absolutely hate the new Bump. I finally just figured out how to update my siggy today. DD was conceived on our first IUI after a year of trying. We have been TTC#2 since last May, with our first IUI in January which ended in a m/c and D&C, then a failed IUI in June and another failed IUI in July. I just started BCP in preparation for our first IVF cycle, and will start Lupron injects on Friday (scared!).

1.)  Is anyone reading anything good lately? I just downloaded Orange Is The New Black....I heard the Netflix series is great, but since we don't have Netflix I'm going to start with the book. For anyone who liked Fifty Shades of Grey, you should totally check out the series by Abbi Glines. 

2.) Is anyone following the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? How do you feel about the casting decisions of Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Charlie Hunnam (Christian Grey)?
LOVE Fifty Shades! Also obsessed with SOA so I'm super excited about Jax playing Christian Grey. At first I thought it was an odd choice, but the think about it, the more excited I am! I don't know much about Dakota Johnson, so I have no feelings on that one.

3.) Is anyone else excited for Halloween? I think I may have a Halloween bash for DD and her friends. I love the fall and any excuse for a party!

Background:  2 1/2 year old DS conceived without intervention after 8 cycles.  TTC #2 for 21 cycles.  3 rounds of Clomid only and just did our first IUI with Clomid and Ovidrel.  I'm spotting today so it looks like AF is around the corner and I want to cry.  Several grand down the drain and I feel so defeated.  I don't know how to do this again.  Sorry, minor breakdown there!

1)  The last good book I read was - I don't remember.  I'm always reading books but I haven't found any really great ones lately.  Maybe "The Help"? I'm a little behind apparently because I just read that one about a month ago.  Hard to read the stuff about the little girl she nannies while going through IF, that's for sure.

2)  I've never read the books and I doubt I'll see the movie, so I'm pretty neutral on this one.

3)  I love Halloween.  It'll be the first one that DS will have a say in what he is, and I'm excited to see what he chooses.

I have two DS, one is 6 and the other is 3.  They were both conceived naturally on the first cycle.  Currently, I am on CD 17 of Cycle 3 using Clomid and Cycle Monitoring and Timed Intercourse.

I'm reading the second book of Fifty Shades, Under the Dome by Stephen King and The Reef by some trashy romance novelist.  They are all great books.  Entertaining at least and hard to put down.

2.) Is anyone following the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? How do you feel about the casting decisions of Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Charlie Hunnam (Christian Grey)?

I am not really following along with this movie, but I did hear about it.  I think that they will ruin the books/fantasies in women's heads by making these into a movie.  I will certainly not be watching them and I'm not sure how many people will.  Maybe if they didn't read the book they will.

3.) Is anyone else excited for Halloween?

I'm excited for Halloween.  This year my DS' are both old enough to really get into Halloween together and my sister is due October 29th with her first and I can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew.

Background: DS 3.5 years old conceived naturally after 6 cycles. Currently on day 17 of cycle 27/month 34, a forced break cycle. Tube removed in February due to a hydro but otherwise unexplained. Just waiting for CD1 to start IUI#1 on a lower dose of clomid. I had too many mature follicles last time so we took the REs advise to sit this one out. Hoping for no cysts so we can go ahead. I had a lot of ovulation pain which hopefully isn't a bad sign.

I love to read. I am currently reading A Hundred Summers (I get a lot of books from the kindle deals). ally510--I really liked The Storyteller too!

I read the books but haven't been following the movie. I just can't imagine it being on a big screen.

Yes! DS is so excited and wants us all to dress up as superheroes.

I don't even know where to start . Background- Cycle #13 (Trying since July 2012). If you see my chart, not much information there. Original d/x- MFI (low testosterone). Current- DH: low motility- fine with testosterone and sperm quantity and mobility. Me: Late Ovulation (put on Prometrium). Newest news- Monday took last Prometrium Pill (12 day supply). Tuesday FMU- extremely faint BFP. Wednesday- FMU definitely a 2nd line, but still light, CBE Digital confirmed last night (pregnant and "pregnancy" dating. I refilled my Prometrium. Calling Specialist this AM. Worse case, I would've only missed 1 pill (Tuesday).

Don't really know who the actor/actress is. All I have been hearing is that the movie won't be able to do justice to the book.

3.) Is anyone else excited for Halloween? I, too, am excited for Halloween. Love eating all the good candy- Reese's, Snickers, etc. DS has yet to get his costume. I love the Fall weather and the aromas.

TTC#3 since Oct. 2011. Both DDs conceived naturally second month of trying. Periods after DD2 was born never regulated well, typically spotted starting 3-5dpo, then had heavy, painful AFs for 7 days. Finally got our first bfp on what was going to be our 3rd and final medicated IUI cycle, ended in a mmc at 7 weeks. Completely devasted and back at square one emotionally as far as being content as a family of 4. Still experiencing brown spotting 3 weeks post D&E. Waiting for af so we can do another clomid/gonal f/trigger/IUI cycle. QOTW: 1. I'm reading the Delirium trilogy. It's an easy, young adult dystopian series similar to Divergent. 2. I liked the books, and from the pictures I've seen I think the actors casted fit the roles. No idea how their acting is though! 3. I love Halloween! Our neighborhood is full of kids so trick or treating is lots of fun. The candy is always nice, too

CD 14, TTC 3 years. Temp actually plummeted today, so waiting for the rise in my chart.

50SoG: I didn't read the book and I don't know who either actor is, but I'm disappointed because I heard somewhere unofficial that Henry Cavill was under consideration for the role. I would watch him read a phone book. He is my list of allowable celebrities, should we ever meet. And you read that right. He's not on the list, he is the list.

Halloween: I haven't been a huge fan of Halloween. DS had autism and does not get the concept of pretend, so dressing up as someone else is like a big "wtf?" for him. He wore a UPS truck driver costume last year and loved it because he's way into logos, but it was just another outfit to him. DH is too serious to ever dress up, and I'm usually too exhausted to come up with an idea, haha. I'm also creatively challenged, so my costumes are boring. The best one I ever came up with as a kid was when I dressed up in all black with a blackout mask and called myself a shadow.
