Shower time

What do you do with your LO's while you take and shower and get ready for the day?

I use to have a bouncer in our bedroom that he'd stay in for about 15 minutes before being done. Now the only thing that keeps him occupied is the excersaucer but I don't want to keep lugging it back and forth from living room to bedroom. Would it be excessive to get two? Lol

I don't know about your area but there are fb mom groups that are like online yard sales. A lot of times you can find one for $10. So if that was the case then imo it would be ok. Everyone has different situation and if that's what works for you than that's fine.

I put DS in his crib now that he is too big for the RnP in the bathroom. I usually time my shower for during his naptime, but on days that doesn't work, I turn his mobile or some music on and give him a stuffed toy and he keeps himself occupied while I take a quick shower. I go get him and let him play on my bed while I'm getting changed.

I usually shower before the kids get up, but if I'm late with that DS sits in a bouncer in my bathroom. I would try to get an extra exersaucer online like pp suggested. I have two swings and two bouncers so I don't have to move them around the house. It's definitely more convenient.

I tend to just be dirty for a bit.... however I'm also newly a stay at home mom, so if I don't have anywhere to go it doesn't matter too much lol

I try to plan it around nap time, but if that doesn't work, I just stick her in her crib in her room or her PnP in our room with a couple of toys and she entertains herself for a few mins. If I had room in our tiny bathroom, I'd totally get another (used) exersaucer! We do have a jumperoo upstairs in our main living space, and then an exersaucer I got through a FB moms group downstairs for when I'm down there doing laundry.

This, only I've been a SAHM since he was born LOL. When I take a shower I either do it at nap time, before he wakes in the morning, or I drag the exersaucer in there with us. He doesn't even play with it, he is intrigued by the whole shower experience Lol.

Sometimes I manage to fit the swing in our little bathroom but lately he's been trying really hard to squirm out of it, so I joke around with DH that I've just decided to become a dirty hippy.

I put DS in his bouncer or crib with his bear or rattle ball. I take fairly quick showers so that usually keeps him entertained for just long enough.

I've rearranged my schedule so that I take my showers at night now, after they've gone to bed. If I need to do it in the morning, it has to happen before 6 AM… Or it's never going to happen!

I take showers at night now once LO is asleep, since I've switched to a super early schedule. Before that, I would nurse LO when she woke up and she would fall back asleep. I'd then put her back in the crib and could usually get ready before she woke up. On the off chance that she wouldnt go back to sleep, I'd just put her in a PNP in my room with some toys and try to be fast as heck.
