My Boss was just on vacation here. She said it looked like it was The Shining but that it was so secluded and awesome. And oh yea, you get the ENTIRE hotel to yourselves. :-) We're talking about doing it next fall with 45 of our closest friends.
I wouldn't want a ton of 'organized' activities because that's where cat fights break out.
We could do some major carpoolage, and a cabin would be super affordable.
If someone thought, "gee, I want to go but I've only posted the most attractive pics of myself on IG and it will be embarrassing to show up looking 1000 lbs heavier" they would just have to get over it and come anyway, cause ain't nobody got time for that, and don't nobody give a shit.
@marisakathleen that is definitely doable and there are a lot of beds, also a plus. I wonder what the common areas are like. The plus of a big cabin is most of it is common space.
Look @ those cabins. Pool table, hot tub, a zillion rocking chairs, huge kitchen, sleeps over 50, good places to set up 5 beer pong tables in a row, and the view.
Pregglies and sobers might get annoyed, but they can get crazy on chip dip!
I'd throw some cash at a kitty to help out some ladies who have tight funds.
We can do chocolate and desserts for them. Why must you all be so far away? How do I convince Dh to let me fly there, right after I extended my leave for another year?
Depending on how many we had going, ILs have 3 adjoining condos on the beach in Sanibel Island, FL that could sleep 30ish...and...I'm 95% sure there'd be no charge.
@l8kissie "once in a lifetime experience" I could pick you up from the airport.
If we can get 50 ladies, we can secure lodging for under $200/pp total for 3 nights. BYOB and meal cost could be minimal. Picky/budget eaters bring your own cooler and ice and keep it in your room. If I were on a budget, I'd bring pbj 2 loaves of bread, and 60 beers.
@miss50 I plan to tell Mr. BPer that I'm off binge drinking for 3 days and that he's watching Hannah. Oh, and I'm using our FF miles to book my flight, bye!

I can think of one down side. Fingers will be waiving at me at some point for barfing on the floor. I'll pack my spot bot carpet cleaner.
I'm actually more comfortable with this than friending people on FB.
My concern with Gatlinburg was that it was pretty far south. Is there anything good in Missouri?

Can everyone be nice? Hahahahahahhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
YES! Exactly. It will sleep 56 people, so at $1,800 at night for 2 nights it would be ~$65 a person. Totally affordable.

Maybe a clicky vote would be nice to work out some details.
my questions are ...
1. what i do with the kid?
2. what do i tell mr50?
...i'll find more I swear...
FL would be a flight for almost everything, which is the only issue
I have a $156 SWA credit that expires in April because I cancelled my Vegas trip. Will that get me to wherever these beautiful places are? [-O<
