When to tell siblings....

I have a 10 year old, we just told her im 5 weeks and now I wonder if it might have been to soon.

My last pregnancy I told my 9yo daughter at five weeks she was so excited she was on the bump with me all the time. unfortunately that one ended up in a loss at 9w6d and I felt like I crushed her. and her dads ex-girlfriend had also lost her baby so she had two siblings Miscarried. I opted not to tell her until 12-13 weeks this time. she thinks I have the flu right now. It's sooo hard to keep it a secret.

We told my 8yo step-son when I was 10wks last time. Unfortunately I had a MC at 13wks. It was definitely hard to explain to him bc he's at an age where he has so many questions. I think we will wait until at least 12wks this time, maybe wait until we know the sex (depends on how much I'm showing). My other son is 2, so he can't really comprehend now anyway.
