Weird question I guess.

My LO says "mmm" all the time and usually makes an annoyed "fussy face" with it. I can't for the life of me figure out what he's trying to say.

Any other babies do that and have that reaction? What does that usually mean for them?

I'm wondering if he's teething...

My 5 month old DS is also doing that.  He does it especially when he is eating his cereal.  Funny, I thought maybe he just did that sound from eating kind of like how people act when they like food.  I wonder if it does have something to do with teething.  Could be, but I thought it was more to do with him eating.

Same here. Our DD is 5 mons 2 wks and does the mm for a week or so now especially when she is bored. Sometimes she does mm when on the boob too. It's like she was having a conversation while sucking.

My LO does that a lot when she's tired and I've put her down for a nap but she can't fall asleep. She's also done that after trying solids, and I took it to mean she wasn't ready.
