PSA Cracker Barrel

We were driving home from Baltimore today and we decided to unexpectedly stop at Cracker Barrel. I was extremely surprised how accommodating they were to my daughter. They said that nothing is cooked in peanut oil. There wasn't a huge egg free list--mostly because of cross contamination issues they wouldn't even stand by any fried food--because of the deep fryer being share. For the most part we try to avoid cross contamination but aren't too worried about it with my daughter---but the biscuits were fine. She had buttered chicken which she absolutely loved and corn as a side. Since the buttered chicken wasn't on the kid's menu and I knew she wouldn't have eaten a whole portion of it, I did ask them to see if they could make it into a kid's portion. Which they happily did. It came with one side and biscuit and one piece of chicken.
