For any ladies curious about my saline sono today...here is my update...

They first did a regular sonogram to check out my ovaries and to get a general look. Then the doctor came in for the saline sono. I'm not going to lie, the saline sono part was not fun at all. It was more painful than I expected. I'm glad it didn't last too long. The nurses were so sweet to hold my hand and talk me through it.

After they saw all they wanted to see (I was too distracted by the discomfort to watch the screen), I got dressed and went to discuss the results with the doctor. The sonograms showed that everything looks perfect! My uterus lining looks normal and they did not find any abnormalities. They saw many follicles on my ovaries - which is good since I have not ovulated yet. So this is great news!

I then discussed my temperature charts with my doctor to come up with a game plan for this cycle. He described my response to Clomid as "textbook" and he was "encouraged" by my response. He said we would try 2 or 3 more cycles before he would refer me to a specialist. I brought up the unexplained spotting I had the last 2 cycles and he was not sure what that was because everything is checking out perfectly. So he wrote me a prescription for progesterone suppositories to take for 5 days starting on 3DPO. I've learned from this board that most people take progesterone suppositories for 10 days straight, but my doctor isn't convinced I really need them but is willing to try it for a short period of time. I think he doesn't want me on medication that I really don't need to be on. However, I think I do need it and I'm glad he gave me 5 days worth.

All good news! I'm feeling much better about this cycle!

Sorry I'm late the the party uneek. Thanks for the check in. How are you doing??

Update: I'm on CD15. Acupuncture has really helped relax me, and it's really interesting this cycle she has put electricity on my ovary points to help stimulate an earlier O. Last cycle I didn't start to get high readings until CD 16, this cycle I got the first on CD 11--so I'm hopeful this is working. I got positive OPKs, but still no peak reading or temp spike. We will see how that goes.

QOTW: I go to chocolate. Or cheesecake mmmm.

That's a great update, @MyFirstRaspberry!  So happy for you, but sorry that it was painful and sucky.  I think you should treat yourself to a jar of nutella as a reward!

I'm late to the party, but big (((hugs))) to all who could use one.  Thank you, @uneek, for running the check in for us!

    *****PG friend mentioned******

Updates:  I am CD 10 and have had a lot of spotting this cycle.  It's pretty unusual for me, and the only thing I can think is that maybe the POM juice I am drinking has something to do with it?  Who knows.  Other than that, DH and I are going to a wedding tomorrow and then I am getting together with my BFF on Sunday.  She is having her c-section the day before our EDD, so it is getting close for her, and while it is a painful reminder, it is important to me that I be happy and supportive for her.  She has been a wonderful friend for a long time.

QOTW:  I usually favor salty over sweet.  I LOVE salt and vinegar potato chips.  I can house an entire bag in one sitting if I'm not careful!
So much love and support for you as you deal with the conflicting feelings of your friend's pregnancy. Take care of yourself and try not to hold in your feelings during this. Take a time out, if needed. (((hugs)))
Thank you for all of the support and love.  It's nice that there is a place to go where people understand the heartache in a way that my family, friends, and even DH, simply do not.  I will definitely take that advice and listen to my own heart.

You're sweet for asking. Thank you. I don't really have updates as we are TTA for the foreseeable future so I refrain for from saying "Nothing new here" every week. It gets depressing. I'm starting RPL testing (hopefully) next cycle. I say hopefully because it was supposed to be last cycle but between my effed up ovaries and doctors going on vacation it never happened.
Big (((HUGS))) Uneek, that sounds incredibly frustrating.  I hope the testing does indeed start next cycle so that you can work on a plan!

@uneek1323 I hope the testing will start on time for you. Doctor's going on vacation really annoy me! I ended up working with a different doctor the last 2 cycles because mine went on vacation for a bit. The doctor's say do this on this day, and when you do, they aren't even there to provide feedback! Very frustrating!

@uneek1323 I'm working on my MBA. Zero fun, and no new "back to school" clothes :( When is your first day back? Hope it's great!

@RN536 I didn't say anything, it's happened so many times that I'm just done with it all. I'm not trying to start any drama, or even participate, so I'm just letting it go. They're not genuine people and Idk why I wanted to surround myself with fake friends to begin with.
