I'm on CD 3 and AF has been relatively kind to me. I normally have really bad cramps the first day of my period and the next few days after, but it was pretty much gone yesterday. Yay!

TP to the 4 people (3 co-workers and a patient) who asked me, unprovoked, if I was pregnant on CD 1 and 2. I seriously think the universe is trying to mess with me. I don't think it helps that I'm going back from being FT to per diem at my work and everyone is assuming (and then spreading the info) that I'm either pregnant or found another job.

QOTW: I definitely have a sweet tooth. My go-to comfort food is usually candy or cookies.

CD11 here so not much to report yet. However, my saline sono is tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about it but more curious to see what's going on in my ute. I really suspect my ute lining to be thin, but we shall see. I've prepared a small list of questions for my doctor as well.

QOTW: Junk food: salty or sweet? What's your go-to comfort junk food?

I definitely have a sweet tooth. I'll pretty much eat anything with chocolate in it. I can no longer have nutella in my house because I would devour all of it!

WTH!! Why would someone randomly ask you if you were Pg!!  TP to them for sure!  No time is good to ask that question, but during CD1/2 is the worst! Sorry you had to deal with that!

Thanks. It's not like I've been giving hints that I could be... No complaints about symptoms, no talk about anything related, and I wear scrubs so I would be really far along before "showing." It would have sucked any time, but it was an extra kick to the ute. Good luck with your saline u/s tomorrow. I hope everything looks great.

UPDATE: FF says I'm about 3DPO (not positive since I'm not temping, only using OPKs right now) and not feeling particularly confident this cycle.  DH and I had terrible timing all month not to mention that DH is starting to get alittle weirded out by my POAS obsession! 

On the NTTCAL front, DH and I are continuing our house hunt which has been super exciting.  Our agent found some promising listings that we're hoping to see soon.

QOTW: I am a sweet/salty combo kind of girl.  I've been obsessed with anything that has salted caramel in it.  The Talenti salted caramel gelato is amazeballs.

My EDD is exactly 1 month from today so that has me a little emotional. However on Josephs due date we are going to release floating paper lanterns with messages written to Joseph. 

I am currently on CD 20. Our "official" start (as in charting, using OPKs ect) will be next cycle however the husband and I couldn't seem to keep our hands off each other this month so if course I would be overjoyed if I did get a BPF at the end of this cycle.

Definitely sweet. I love fruit and thats usually what I snack on....even though its not considered junk food.

Hope you are doing well today. Struggles: I'm CD4 (boo!) and a little blah for obvious reasons. Successes: On a good note, my RE just called to tell me that my TSH level is 2.34 down from 3.73! Whoot whoot! So, will be continuing same protocol! So I'm looking forward to CD9 to start my OPKs and moving onto the next cycle. Unfortunately, we'll be traveling from NJ up to Toronto and visiting with family during my FW so that'll be interesting! My cousin-in-law told me that she conceived both of her kids on the bed we'll be staying on so maybe I'll get some good ju-ju! LOL!

Non-TTCAL news: I'll be 38 on 8/27 so DH & I are going to visit Inner Harbor in Baltimore for an over-nighter. I really thought I'd be pg by 38 but oh well.This will be our last cycle before my EDD so, FX!

Yea, we're in NJ.  We're looking all over northern and central NJ.. for now in Somerset County, but we've got our eye on East Brunswick/Milltown too!

Welcome again. I think we're all a little on edge thinking about the upcoming month. it's normal to feel that way. I think your paper lantern release will be a beautiful way to remember your son.

Starting temping back up. I always take a break during AF. Drinking pom juice this cycle even though I really don't like drinking my calories and I can not believe how expensive this juice is. This is the last cycle for us for a few months so I am trying to do all I can and stay positive. QOTW: I do love both salty and sweet but I would have to pick sweet over salty. I love anything with chocolate and I have no will power!!! If I am stressed or having a bad day I will reach for anything sweet. My DH does not have a big sweet tooth so he does not get it.

@MyFirstRaspberry Where in NoVA if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Fredericksburg, about 50 miles south of DC on 95. There's another TTCAL poster from NoVA as well, we briefly mentioned a get-together!

@RN536 Thinking of you and your mother. And you're right, POM is crazy expensive. I saw the POM posts the other day but never checked them-- I'll have to go back and find out why everyone's talking about it lol.

Hi September ladies, not too much to update you all on this time around. School starts Monday soo that's fun.. also last night a bunch of my coworkers/wives of coworkers decided to have a girls night and not invite me, so that's awesome. I'm the only one without kids/pregnant so I don't belong to whatever magical club they've created. But when it's someone's bday and I'm supposed to bring a gift, they've got no problem including me. I'm 25, the youngest of the group of the 9 of us, and still dealing with Mean Girls-- awesome!

QOTW: I've got a crazy sweet tooth. If I could, I'd eat ice cream every day! We also had a bunch of cookie dips (sugar cookie / chocolate chip) left over from our housewarming party this past weekend and so I've been stuffing my face with those.. you know, so they don't go bad

Updates:  I am CD 10 and have had a lot of spotting this cycle.  It's pretty unusual for me, and the only thing I can think is that maybe the POM juice I am drinking has something to do with it?  Who knows.  Other than that, DH and I are going to a wedding tomorrow and then I am getting together with my BFF on Sunday.  She is having her c-section the day before our EDD, so it is getting close for her, and while it is a painful reminder, it is important to me that I be happy and supportive for her.  She has been a wonderful friend for a long time.

QOTW:  I usually favor salty over sweet.  I LOVE salt and vinegar potato chips.  I can house an entire bag in one sitting if I'm not careful!

Oh I hear the traffic down to Fredericksburg is pretty rough. Yikes!

I live near South Riding. One of these days we'll have to do a NOVA GTG. I've chatting with a couple of other ladies who live in Ashburn.

WTH!! Not cool of your co-workers to exclude you from their girls night. Last I checked, you are a girl... so that should be the only requirement for a "girls" night!! (I would be open to allowing select gay men on a girls night too though). Sorry you are feeling left out.

Great excuse to enjoy all the left over goodies!!! Can't let anything go to waste

Traffic from NoVA to Fburg is crap at certain times. Other times, it's a cake walk. I'm not opposed to going to DC to meet up, DH and I are up there all the time for Nats games.

Biggest face slap re: girls night? One of them is my SIL. All the wives are SAHMs who love to get together and talk about how much money they spend and the other girls who aren't there. It's really just Mean Girls: SAHM Edition. Eff that!

I've been thinking about you and your mom. How is she feeling? Pom juice is expensive. Have you tried mixing it with anything? I like it with sparkling water and it helps to stretch it out. I'm thinking of you this cycle.

You're sweet for asking. Thank you. I don't really have updates as we are TTA for the foreseeable future so I refrain for from saying "Nothing new here" every week. It gets depressing. I'm starting RPL testing (hopefully) next cycle. I say hopefully because it was supposed to be last cycle but between my effed up ovaries and doctors going on vacation it never happened.

You're a teacher? Student? I teach elementary. Sorry about the mean girls situation. That's a tough one.

Updates:  I am CD 10 and have had a lot of spotting this cycle.  It's pretty unusual for me, and the only thing I can think is that maybe the POM juice I am drinking has something to do with it?  Who knows.  Other than that, DH and I are going to a wedding tomorrow and then I am getting together with my BFF on Sunday.  She is having her c-section the day before our EDD, so it is getting close for her, and while it is a painful reminder, it is important to me that I be happy and supportive for her.  She has been a wonderful friend for a long time.

QOTW:  I usually favor salty over sweet.  I LOVE salt and vinegar potato chips.  I can house an entire bag in one sitting if I'm not careful! 

So much love and support for you as you deal with the conflicting feelings of your friend's pregnancy. Take care of yourself and try not to hold in your feelings during this. Take a time out, if needed. (((hugs)))
