Toddler Pillow

What age did you give your toddler a pillow. Or plan on giving one?

Dd at 15 months when we moved her to a toddler bed. DS at around 15 months too because he liked being propped up. I gave them both a travel pillow. DD got a regular pillow when she turned 3 and moved to a regular bed.

I'm going to get him one just for the pillowcase that came with his bedding, but he doesn't sleep with one on our bed, and so far he's only taken a nap on his toddler bed ha.

Around 13 months he was really congested and we were already propping his mattress, so we gave him the little pillow that came with his activity gym (the u-shaped tummy time one) and he's been sleeping with that ever since.

DS started asking for a pillow around 18months, we didn't give him one until maybe 22months.  DD will probably get one when she gets closer to 2years.

I am glad I came across this thread!  I have been debating this too and want to give my LO one, but she is still co-sleeping in her PNP and a regular pillow is too big.  I need to find a kid pillow.  Any suggestions?  I think I will also post this as a new discussion.

DS got one at around 21m old. I didn't put it off for a reason in particular, he was sleeping well without out so I didn't bother.

DS sleeps fine without a pillow also but he has a cute small pillowcase so I want a pillow for it! His bedding is just so cute He needs a throw pillow too now I think!

I went to Hobby Lobby and got a "decorative" pillow since they are small and not so soft her face was gonna sink in.....hope this helps!

DD is 21 months and instead of a pillow like we have, I got a wedge pillow and put it under her mattress so that one end is propped up a little bit.  We are planning on moving her to a toddler bed for her 2nd bday so I will probably get her an actual pillow then.

They have toddler pillows on amazon. That's where we got ours!
