I'm literally on my first week back to work from maternity leave and I'm back to a big ol' mess. Our SVP had a breakdown and is MIA, all the projects going on now are pretty boring and there is the constant threat of them eliminating our team and "drafting" us out. It's like a sports draft where other teams get to choose who they want. In stead of worrying about getting drafted by a team I don't want to be on I looked and another section of the company has a job Id love. I'm qualified, it's a title promotion and pay increase. My thing is I just got back to work and I'd hate to leave the regular VPs down another person. We're a super tight group and I love working with them. Plus I get to work from home 90% of the time and the other job I'd be 100% in the office. What would you all do? Little background I work in application development and testing for an international financial institution.
