As of last week, we officially have less than a 100 days to go. Woah. I am so looking forward to meeting this little guy face-to-face soon!
I am feeling really well! Z and I still get the biggest kick out of feeling our boy squirm around. I wonder when/if it will become uncomfortable. I hear a foot in the rib cage isn't so fun...
We had major nursery progress this weekend. My stepdad painted the room and helped us put the crib together. We were able to move in the dresser and glider as well. Just need to add some shelves and then we can finish up the decorating. Makes my heart happy to see a baby room in our house.
@ATXmommas love the nursery pics! So Adorable.
We are smooth sailing here right now. 26 weeks, almost third trimester! L is refinishing the dresser that will double as a changing table this week. We are looking forward to our last trip to Minnesota (before he gets here) coming up in September. All my family up there are planning a big baby shower. Our whole house seems to be in a nesting phase right now which is nice to have things cleaned and organized. Overall, I am feeling well. My belly seems to be growing straight out at this point but I am not too big or uncomfortable yet. Work is still a point of stress but my OB is talking about cutting me back from 12 hour to 8 hour shifts as I get into the third trimester.

Almost 35 weeks and about 35 days to go. I can't believe it! I think I have officially turned the corner of comfortable to uncomfortable, but I am trying not to complain. I think it's like the natural rule to get so uncomfortable that you not only are willing to go through labor, but welcome it. Ha! I'm not there yet, but I can see how I might be in 5 weeks. I posted on PIP this week about the BP spike and u/s I got. It was so great to see the baby be all chubby and know that she's head down and all that. She was swallowing and practicing breathing. So awesome.
My big appt is this week and luckily S will be home for a few hours and is then back out until aug. 30th. Luckily I've had a few people offer to come and spend time with me while on modified bed rest and take the trash up the driveway. Haha! I'm getting my handed down car seat this week and our bedding, the last two things we need. Whew! I feel like just in time!

Thank you for the sweet words about the nursery. I've been planning it in my head these last few months, and it's fun to see it coming together.
@mwagner25 - you're bump is seriously adorable. I don't love having a job in which I sit all day long, but also know I wouldn't want to be on my feet all day pregnant. Hopefully the shorter shifts will do you good.
@songbird31 - I like your theory on the "natural rule!" Glad you have some company.
Wishing all you mamas well this week! And lurking on TTC checkin because I so want many others to join us! I'm excited for all of them because I truly remember the ups and downs. Got my fingers and toes crossed...
Love this! Keep 'em crossed lady!
