I am still pissed about this season. It sucks. I knew it wasn't that one guy, because it was too easy.

I DVRed it, but I just checked out a quick recap because I was curious. And now I'm mad. This season doesn't feel like it's building towards anything. I guess other than the Dexter Hannah love story, that as previously stated I hate with a passion.

Hannah's character probably had to come back to place an antagonist between Dexter and Deb's relationship; however, it's not played out well. There are too many other stories going on that anything else worthwhile is muddled.

I want Hannah and Dexter together.

I think there is a lot more to come. So we are assuming Vogel killed Zack? I was thinking that but wasn't 100% sure.

I think Vogel will kill Hannah and Dex will kill her...or Vogel will kill Deb.

A lot of people out there think Dex and Deb will both die but that seems like a super shitty ending for Harrison and the show.

Agreed. I will say I don't think Dexter will die. Dexter should probably die, but the writers seem pretty obsessed with making everything go awesome for him all the time, always. At least since season 6. I think they are too in love with him to kill him. I really think they'll have him sail happily off into the sunset with Hannah.

From the beginning of the show, I always thought it would either end with Deb killing or arresting Dex, or Dex killing Deb and becoming the monster. But I don't think they'd have the guts to do either of those things now, and Harrison complicates things.

I just find this season so boring! I was really looking forward to it and am terribly disappointed.

Every week I keep saying I will not watch one more week, but then I do. 

The quality of the writing seems to have fallen off of a cliff this season and other than MCH and Jennifer Carpenter, the acting has been poor as well.

I don't mind this season as much as some others here do. Maybe cause I have a blind spot for MCH. My DH put it best last night when he said that he wants Hannah and Dex to end up together because he deserves something to make him happy. 

It definitely is no where near season 2 and 4 which IMHO were the best ones.

Oh, I love LOVE MCH, but this season blows. He deserves Lumen. Hannah is too similar to him. And she's fucking boring.

Ok, I'm watching the ep right now. This is like going to the dentist. Dex and Hannah spend their scenes either discussing mundane tasks or rehashing the stuff that happened this season that we already know. What is this shit?

DH thinks that the Brain Surgeon wasn't the foot guy and whoever it is sent Vogel the brain part--not that she did it. 

But, then, that does leave you to wonder who was setting up Zack--would that fit into whatever the real Brain Surgeon's plan is?

This episode was really boring.  Zzzz...

Team Quinn framed zack but that's going to look really bad on Dexter. Considering Quinn asked Dexter to check for zacks DNA...
Not sure what's up with creapy Vogel & her "meat dish".
Deb might be the only person in the world I wish Botox on... She needs lips or something. I don't know what it is about her that makes me want to flick her in the forehead and say "Bitch please!"

Quin may have framed Zack but who killed him? And, the Mama Cas song playing on the ipod is Vogels theme song, they use it in every episode. No one knows that. I am team Vogel killed Zack but I don't see Quinn killing Cassie. I also think Dexter and Harrison will leave Miami and head to Argentina and live happily ever after with Hannah.

I don't think Quinn framed Zack.  With how the episode ended - I think it was Vogel, actually.  She wanted to get some plan in motion between Dexter and Zack.

AND the whole "I hope no one is a vegetarian" - I wonder if she "takes on" characteristics of her patients and she's actually a cannibal, along w/ a killer who cuts out pieces of brains.....

Quinn is probably going to end up some big time serial killer or something, because there can be no other reason they have left his boring, over-tan ass as a character.

That's what my H thinks too-- but if Quinn framed Zack-- wouldn't he have been hounding Dex (and his scrumptous ass) for the blood evidence results (the DNA planted on Cassie)?  The only one that asked about the DNA was Masuka.

I actually really like them together. Lets not forget, Dexter is not a exactly a nice guy. He will have to fight his demons for the rest of his life. I think Hannah is as close to normal as he will ever get without living a lie.

no, he asked dexter. When dexter was walking out the door, he asked him to check for zack's dna and dexter was like, "why are you even still looking at him... the boss told you to back off" well, I shouldn't have quoted that but that's pretty much what was said...

Quinn did ask and told Dex to "let him know if anything popped up" on Zack and asked Dex to compare the pics of the killings because he said they looked so similar. IDK. AHHH! I must know how this plays out! Please don't fail me writers!

I read an interesting theory on a blog about Dexter that Dr Vogel's husband is the brain surgeon killer. Perhaps that was the "incident" early in her life that piqued her interest in serial killers-discovering her husband was one.

Sean Patrick Flanery's boring character

The boring Masuka/daughter storyline

The painfully long dialogues

Whoever is responsible for the cast's "tans"

They shouldn't be opening up more storylines this close to the end. They need to be tying up loose ends, not creating new ones.

Exactly my thoughts.  Also, like I said before, Quinn must be some sort of creepy serial killer too, because otherwise, he should have been gone a long time ago.  His character adds very little to the story lines.  His girlfriend is annoying as hell, too.
