back to work & daycare- first cold!

I'm back at work after summer break (new school and so far, I love it!!!) and LO has been at daycare all of 4 days so far. And he's already sick- runny nose, cough, just feeling blah. No fever, he wants to play, but is not eating much. I've tried all the normal non-medicine remedies, but he seems to be the same. Is there anything over the counter that he could have for a cold? I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow to check, just wanted to see if ya'll knew of anything.

Thanks ladies! All my research pointed to just try the home remedies, so we will see how he is tomorrow.

That's exactly what happened to us. I started back to work 6 weeks ago and by day 3 LO had a full blown cold. He of course brought it home to me and I ended up with a sinus infection and sick for 2 weeks. (thank you pregnancy)

I hope he starts feeling better!!!

My pedi said we could give C a very small dose of Triaminic. It definitely helped her, and I think it helped avoid a sinus and/or ear infection from all the congestion.
