Twisting and burying face before falling asleep?

Anyone else's LO do this?  The past 3 weeks, when DS gets overly tired he will start twisting his body around with a few violent jerks thrown in for good measure.  He will twist back and forth for 10-15 minutes and preferably be on his side.  If he is on the bed with us (supervised) on a pillow or with a little blankie, he will bury his face into the pillow sideways, his head curled like he is looking upwards...  It is so freaking weird.  Anyone else see this??

Yes.  My DS does it all the time.  At first it was alarming, but then I found out lots of LOs do it, so I felt better

OMG, our LO does this too! She'll roll on her side, then try to bury her face in the mattress. I think she's trying to get herself comfortable or something. Little weirdo.
