Babies on the Brain

Intro

Hello Ladies.
I just thought I would finally post an intro since I have spent some time lurking and felt that I was ready to be more active.

So a little bit about me and our journey.  Well my husband and I are both turning 30 this year and have been married for a year and a half.  Together for 5 year before that.  We both have successful career, myself as an RN (not an OB nurse! so I am still clueless about the whole having a baby!)  So we have planned and saved and are thrilled to make the leap and are ready to add to our family.  Beyond our dog babies!

Currently, we are not preventing to see what will happen but our plan would be to "try" come November if our practicing and not preventing has not produced any results.  We are excited for this next adventure.

I have been charting my cycle for the last 3 months and temping.  I also have been off BCP's since May of last year!  I thought I was pretty regular previous to watching my cycle so closely but I have found that my cycles range from 25 to 30 days.  But I have found that I ovulate monthly thanks to some OPK that my sister in law gave me.  Used them for the last 3 months because I was more curious and not really as a means of planning.

So here's to changing my thought from the adventures in babysitting my nephew and friends kid's to the adventures in becoming parents!
