When did you move DC from bassinet to crib?

DS was 14 pounds 6 oz. at his doctor appointment Friday and the weight capacity for his bassinet is 15 pounds so he is almost there. I am definitely not ready to move him into his crib in his room so I was just wondering when other mamas moved their LO into their crib.

3 Weeks! And he did wonderfully, never knew the difference. It is right off our bedroom and with the monitor we could hear a pin drop.

We moved Lucy at about 4 1/2 weeks. We ALL sleep better with her in her own room!

He only sleeps on our chests or next to us, so no bassinet and no crib. He is 2 months now! We will try to put him in a crib slowly starting at 3 months...

We moved her bassinet into the nursery a few weeks ago and then she started sleeping in the crib this past weekend. She's sleeping like a champ now

DS has slept in his crib since the first night we were home from the hospital. ?we're temporarily using our spare room as "our room" since it's across the hall, as opposed to down the hall. ?

Do not put it off like we did! I have my 6 month - 22 lbs baby boy sleeping in his bassinet right now (15 lbs limit as well). You inspired me to try to move him to his crib tonight. Wish me luck and do not wait...it only gets harder!

We're actually going to try tonight! DS is 8 weeks old. I'm a little nervous because he's coming down with a cold and has been making all kinds of noises. I think overall it's going to be a harder transition for me than it will be for him.

We moved DS at 8 weeks but it took a few more weeks until he actually stayed in the crib throughout the night. We have a small bedroom and the baby room is right across the hall. We hardly need the monitor to hear him cry, though I still use it all the time for peace of mind.

We moved DD at 4 months. She had just hit the 15 pound mark. If you're not ready to move DS yet, can you put him in the main part of the PnP in your room? He wouldn't be too heavy for that.
