Hello ladies. I've lurked on here a few times but have mostly been over on the March 2014 board since I started bumping.
Anyway, a little about me: my DS was born May 19. He's my only one and I'm pregnant with #2, obviously due in March 2014. He's a very energetic, fun little boy with a gear sense of humor and is very caring! Along with DH, we live in Ohio and I'm 27.
I have a question for you all. I work part time so DS goes to daycare 3 days a week. He generally takes 2 hour naps there. However, for the past couple of months, he has very rarely napped well at home. Yesterday, he napped for 30 minutes and then woke up screaming, which lasted 20 minutes. It also took over an hour to get him down. This is a common trend now. I don't understand why he has no trouble napping at daycare but does at home. I even brought darkening shades for his room, thinking perhaps his room being too light was the problem. No luck. Anyone else have this issue? I'm not sure what to do. It's very frustrating because I really need a break during the day and he's also very moody when he doesn't nap well, making for a very long, not-good day. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
