Ready for # 2?

So, I've not been on here in a realllly long time. Like, since I was pregnant with my first baby and now she'll be two in Oct. So, anyway, DH and I have been pretty heavily talking about number 2.. and by heavily I mean, we've thrown all caution to the wind. I'm pretty set on getting pregnant as soon as it can happen. My concerns are, is it too soon? I mean I know there are plenty that want their kids really close, I feel like my DD has no one to play with and the thought of having a new baby just makes me melt and I'm really experiencing the same feelings I had when trying to get pregnant with my daughter. I'm worried about the age gap and how hard this is going to be with transitioning from one to two. I know I worry for nothing but to have a little encouragement and input would be nice! I'm such a worry wart I can find a reason to worry over anything and obsess over everything

Ds1 just turned 2 and ds2 is 3 1/2 months. It's been interesting transitioning from 1 to 2 but its also a lot of fun. I think you'd be crazy if you weren't nervous about ttc. Whatever age gap you feel is best for your family is best for you. Good luck!

I agree, I think im just a worry wart but I feel we are as ready as we can be! I long for another, thats a good enough reason for me! And DH talks about another more often than me at times so thats always great! Lol

Mine are 25 months apart....I didn't have those concerns too much but they are very legit. I was heartbroken at the change from just "us" with me & my son... But I am overly thrilled with what a sibling has brought them both! It's very hard at first, but SO worth it & before you know it, you'll be ready for a third! There is no better gift than a sibling & I think it's been so great to be the mom of two... The stressful things you experienced with the first are things you know will end so it's much more fun & it actually makes me feel like a better parent to both! Do it!!! Besides,,, you have 9 months to worry )
