I would have no issue telling her that its none of her business and that you and her son will collectively decide when the time is right. After all it is your family.

Hi, my husband and i are both 24 we were married last June, we have been together 5 years this October, my MIL is constantly snooping at us about TTC, she always finds a way when we mention about more grand children running around eventually, to say "oh my own daugter waited a few years into marriage to get pregnant blah blah" to the point that when we do actually announce next year when we are pregnant, im quite positive her first reaction will be to say how young we are and how we should have waited longer...my husband has already said he will have no problem telling her to but out of our lives when it comes to having kids. I would not discuss it with her anymore. Don't bring up babies or ttc. If she brings it up firmly tell her it's between you and your husband and change the subject. Leave the room or hang up the phone if she persists.
