Implanation Bleeding or barely-there period? Still testing BFN 14DPO, probably not preg right?

Hi everyone. I would SO appreciate any insight right now And promise to update so that other women in this weird position can benefit...

Last period started July 1, ovulated July 18/19 (used ov tests to figure it out).

TINY bit of spotting July 25/26. Then thought I started AF July 28...but it's um, barely there. I can't even call it spotting and it is dark brown. No cramps which I usually have as indicators of AF. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Been going on 5 days now, but like I said barely anything coming out at all.

August 1, tested this morning. NEG (although it wasn't a really sensitive test). My cycle is on average 34 days & a bit irregular. Can veer on the longer side. So at this point I'm about 14DPO. If I were pregnant, wouldn't I be testing positive by now?

I would like to enjoy a nice drink but am afraid with all this weirdness. Whatever this is is not my period OR my period is playing a very cruel joke in me this month!! Anyone had this before? Could it be implantation bleeding?

Thanks so much, seriously. I'm not in a location where I can go to the doctor.

As long as you are getting negative tests I would say that you are not pregnant. If it were me I would get a first response early response and test with fmu tomorrow. If its negative wait several days and test again. The only way to know for sure that you ovulated is if you take your bbt. Sometimes we gear up to o and then o later than we think. In that case you could be earlier in your cycle than you think. Good luck!

When did you get your pos OPK?  You ovulate a day or 2 after that usually.

And if you O'd the 20th you are only 12 dpo

OPKs can tell you when you're gearing up to O, but only temping will actually confirm O - you may not have O'd when you think you did.  If you want more info, I suggest looking into FF and temping.

I vote have a drink.

Yes. This is a new OP.

OP, negative test equals not pregnant. Test once a week until  CD 60 and then see a doctor if you dont get AF before then.

Thanks so much for your responses! I am an OP but I haven't posted anywhere else?

I guess I am confused then. I was using Clearblue advanced digital tests and we tried the days before and after the period that the tests indicated high and peak fertility. I guess I still could have ovulated 2 days after that then?

I doubt I am pregnant too, I am just having the weirdest AF of my life right as I've started to get serious about trying...sigh.

Something similar happened to me last month. I had very, very light spotting for 3 days, at the end of the 3rd day the spotting got heavier and the next morning was the WORST period I've ever had. Very heavy, lots if cramps, emotional roller coaster. Up to the heavy pd. I really thought I was KU...but all tests were negative.

I say keep monitoring and wait a day or two and test again. GL!!!

I also had a similar situation, spotting for almost 3 days before AF. This has NEVER happened before. My period came shortly after and I was not pregnant. Have a drink and make it good

I'm going to hold out on a drink for  few days more out of total paranoia. But when I do have a drink of two, it will be AWSOME. Thanks ladies!! I guess I should look in to temping.

I had the same thing happen to me last cycle. The spotting eventually turned into an actual AF (a rather heavy one).
For me it was also unusual, but I guess our bodies like to play tricks on us sometimes.

Same weird thing happened to me last month. I had cramps and spotting for 5 days, about 5 days before af usually comes for me. Then finally on CD 35 I got af full force, when my cycles are usually 29-30 days. I peed on many sticks, all negative.. then I celebrated cd1 with a stiff drink.

So the spotting has actually just stopped today. I mean this has got to be some kind of cruel joke? AF can go &#*$# herself. I mean just come on and let's get it over with!! I guess maybe I have stressed myself out with all of this and that's why it's is doing really bizarre things it has never done before...
