Big Mac

My friend swears eating a Big Mac meal at McDonalds was the jumpstart to her labor. She was having mild irregular contractions, ate her Big Mac, then WHAM! - Hard intense contractions. In the interest of science, she has convinced me to try it. Now I HATE Big Macs, and haven't had McDonalds in years (except a milkshake here or there). We were going over the parameters last night and while there will be some differences (I hate lettuce on sandwiches, and refuse to get the BBQ sauce for my fries) I think it is a worthy experiment. I'm just praying it doesn't have a castor oil effect...

Anyone else want to get in on this? I'm heading there for lunch today.

Funny story - I ate a Big Mac for lunch on a Thursday afternoon.  Less than 24 hours later, I was in labor...

(No castor oil side effects for me.  I actually love a good Big Mac, though.)

I hate you all! I would love to participate but the closest mcdonalds is almost 2 hrs away. I'll just sit here and eat my pineapple.

I live on an island that has a stupid ban on fast food. We may be moving this fall and will have a MCD's nearby. This makes me happy but doesn't help today. Enjou your big macs ladiea. Take a bite for me.
Also no aehamilton today? I hope she had her baby!

Im up for anything at this point. My Grandma told me to start drinking a bunch of this Abuela's hot chocolate mix to help start it. Lets just say I have drank a bunch of hot chocolate.

If I thought I could handle it, I would! I'm now having painful (like seriously... Giving birth is no joke!) contx about 10 min apart. Need to get them close together to be admitted. But I'm so nauseous I don't think I can eat.

Lurker here but had to share, I had a big mac, the suggestion of a friend,and DD was born 5 hours later. Im one week from EDD but will try it in a few days. Good luck!

My last meal before I went into labor was one of those new pretzel bun cheeseburgers from Wendy's.  It was delicious, but wasn't very pretty when I was puking it up hours later.

Dude, I've already had my baby and I have NEVER had a Big Mac, but honestly I would join this just to eat McDonald's French fries.

I do, too.  Always have, and though I know it's not the correct pronunciation, on this one, I just don't want to be right.
