Is anyone else moving? W/parents?

I'm dying of stress, omg my mom doesn't want to clean to prepare so my hubby can start construction. We can't afford to live here after bday bc 2 LO's in daycare price us out of this home and this area. Paying rent at parents is our solution but the stress is going to send me into early labor. Arguing with my mom, who is very close to me is so hard and my dad is all "don't worry about it, it will get done" phew! Vent over! It's hard to stress over things you really can't control

So, trying to make sense of this.
You cannot afford your rent or mortgage and daycare for 2 kids so you are moving in with your parents.
The area of the house you are moving into is not ready since your DH has to do work on it.
Your mom is refusing to clean the area so your DH can start the work needed.
Your dad says not to worry and it will all get done.

Is this correct?

If so, I would just go clean it myself so your DH can start the work and you can move.  I don't see why your mom has to do it and you and your DH can't.

I got no fluckin clue what exactly you are trying to say here! But one thing I do know- hopefully y'all are in school or in search of a higher paying job, because moving in with your parents should never be a permanent solution. I'd live with my hubby and 2 kids in a studio apartment before I'd flat out plan to take residency with my parents. Also- this talk of doing construction, is that where you are going to live? Like they are building onto their house so you guys cAn live there?! Oy vey!!!

Lol! You guys brightened my day! A little manic typing on my part......I swear I'm a college educated smart woman who has decent sense about her. Yes, I rambled. It's a cluster of a situation. My husband is renovating three rooms at their house and my mother is wonderful but incredibly sentimental about her things. She wants to be the one to sort through things before we start the work. I would love to help, but she hasn't let me so far. I don't want to push her buttons too much but I'm hormonal and a little type A, so I want to take over! I know I should just pipe down and be grateful. My parents are saints to let us move in temporarily! I know I'm a handful!

can you box up her stuff - maybe even presort it for her - and then move it to another area of the house for her to go through at her leisure?

We're moving in with my parents at 36 weeks but only for 12 weeks until we go back "home" to my international job.  My parents are totally zen about the whole deal though.  They've already cleaned a bedroom out for us.  If they were high stress, I'd totally go somewhere else--though I understand that's not a choice for you.
