Bump technical questions (NBR)

I just added this in my other post, but it might make more sense to start a fresh thread.

Does anyone know how to fix their siggy?  I had updated mine so I'm not 60-something weeks pregnant, and when I find the tab for "update avatar and signature" it has the new info in it, but it changed when thebump switched formats and my old stuff is displayed...

I've gone that way to edit my ticker and it won't show up as a ticker; just as the link. What am I doing wrong?

Mine is showing up as both: the new, updated ticker, and the link underneath it.  :-(

ETA: NM...can't follow directions.  :-)
